Ideas for coping mechanisms to have saved on your phone/laptop/tablet. It doesn’t have to be a lot of archives so it won’t fill out the memory.
Save a playlist of favorite songs, relaxing songs, meditation.
Save a few favorite wholesome and funny memes.
Save loving messages from your friends to remind yourself that you are loved.
Save pictures of your favorite people, animals, places, foods, to find reasons to hold on to life and to yourself.
Make a gratitude list and re-read it.
Have a playlist of funny, wholesome or your personal favorite videos.
Have a list of safe foods and drinks that are easy to make and eat.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you can be strong, and still exhausted by having to be. It does not take away your strenght. It doesn’t mean you are going under, it means you are tired and need rest and support. You are still strong, but you are also human, and strenght can be exhausting, because fighting is exhausting. It’s okay to be exhausted. Your strengh is not gone. Let yourself feel exhausted and whatever else you may be feeling, and I hope you one day don’t need to be this strong. I hope you rest. I hope things get better sooner than you imagine. I hope you thrive. 🌸
