it’s new year’s eve and i want you to remember that you made it.

you made it through another year.

you pushed through things that seemed to be the end.

you got up, dusted yourself off and decided that was it,

that that last time you weren’t going to give up so easy.

you are still here and i am so happy for that.

thank you.

it’s ok if you didn’t get through everything you planned to do today, you made it through the day and that’s the most important thing. there is always another day ahead of you where you can try again, just take it one day at a time and you will be alright.

Its okay if you need a longer time to adjust to new things than other people, its okay if you need a little more time to get used to new things, its alright if you take a bit longer to feel comfortable and familiar with new places, people and things. Dont rush yourself and take all the time you need to process everything. Sometimes the mind needs a little more time to take things in, and to let it sink in.
