In which I kick off my birthday celebrations by revisiting one of my all-time favorite kart racers with a bunch of friends! This is EASILY the most chaotic multiplayer stream I've ever done, especially when the game decided not to cooperate...

late last night as i was trying to sleep, something went POP in my forehead. ever since… it's hard to explain, but i feel more Alive. like i can feel things more clearly, i have depth perception again, i can focus and think straight again when i haven't been able to for… months. what the fuck?

truthfully all of what i just described, and... some more distressing symptoms, have been plaguing me for the past ten years of my life. i've always written it off as anxiety or dissociation or autism or etc, but if it can all clear up with a single pop...?

a hazy memory tells me these pops used to happen more frequently, that i would dip in and out of symptoms. but my symptoms haven't gotten better for the last several years... until today?

i really hope these symptoms stay gone this time... though they probably won't.

until i can see a doctor for this stuff, i'll just enjoy this time that i have... time where i actually feel ALIVE!

added a bunch more posts to the #backdated tag as part of an ongoing effort to archive my legacy on Twitter and all the good threads i wrote that i never crossposted here... for some reason. good thing Tumblr lets me just set any arbitrary date when i post something, or this wouldn't be possible!

i've still got plans to do a proper Twitter archive site, but that's a huge project and i am still mega busy! in the meantime, spending a little time digging through my archives once in a while is a great way for me to relive some of my history and see how far i've come.

like a journal! which is what this blog was supposed to be... hence the crossposting.

2020 and 2021 were banner years for my journey of self-discovery... it's wild to look back on what has and hasn't changed since then. i miss being as chatty on main as i was back then, but i sure don't miss the constant emergencies and major stressors!

i'm a huge proponent of the Like button especially in cases where i don't have the spoons to be social, but when i actually speak my praise out loud people seem to REALLY appreciate that. it makes a huge splash

just spent the entire weekend playing ttyd remake and oh my god they actually did it. they remade the game with love and respect for the source material, punched it up in tasteful ways and didn't sanitize any part of it. this is my new preferred way to play my childhood favorite game
