I only just found out about this. I was writing a modern civil war story for about a year and now this came in.

Just saw the trailer for that Civil War movie and I like how they explicitly say “the Western Alliance of Texas and California” bc I guess that’s the best you can do to make a movie with the premise of a modern US civil war be as close-ish to nonpartisan as you kinda can
