Silverfox Johnny drunk rambling to his baby?

Sue tried, for the third time, to get Johnny to drink water and start to settle. Every attempt she had made to get her younger brother to take it easy and introduce something other than alcohol to his body, she was pushed away with a dire need to completely drown himself in liquor.

“I fucked up.” Johnny had gone through the motions of a breakup that wasn’t such a breakup as it was the one great, true love of his life distancing herself because she couldn’t admit her feelings without ruining everything.

“She…she left.” Johnny had a ring, he had a whole plan in his head and you created distance between the two of you to save Jordan, even though he deserved cremation.

“Johnny would you just-“ sue huffed when she was pushed away and instead of trying again, she had grabbed her phone and left Johnny on his own.

She had went into the other room and called your number hoping you could talk some sense into Johnny and get him to bed. He needed someone and he wouldn’t accept help from Sue, nor would he let Reed or Ben in.

“I’m sorry to bother you,” from the phone call to the face to face minutes later, Sue had repeated herself, “but Johnny is trashed.”

“Its okay,” it’d been days since you were here, days and hours and weeks since you’d seen Johnny.

“Johnny-“

“I don’t want your help.” He barked at Sue, his eyes glossed over and his bottom lip swollen from him biting his own flesh. “I don’t want you-“

“Johnny,” you crouched in front of him, hands resting on your knees, “Johnny you need to go to bed.”

“You look familiar,” Johnny whined painfully, “you look like my girl but you’re not…you’re not her.”

“Johnny, I’m…Y/N’s friend.” You winced when you addressed yourself in third person. “You need to get up.”

“I love her, I love Y/N.” Johnny groaned and slowly stood, stumbling over his feet. “I love my girl.”

“Back to bed, Johnny.” You helped him balance and apologized to Sue through a look you’d given her, languidly moving toward his bedroom.

“I wanna marry her,” Johnny looked at you through glossy eyes, “I got a ring. In my desk drawer. I got a ring and I’m gonna ask-“

“You bought a ring?” You had stumbled now, staring at Johnny with wide eyes. “An engagement ring?”

“Big thing for such. Pretty baby.” Johnny slurred his speech and you were thankful that you’d reached his bed, slowly letting him down to the mattress.

“Give it,” Johnny rolled over onto his side, knocking everything off his nightstand before he had grabbed the box. “Give it to her. Its hers, give it…tell me the answer.”

You grabbed the box from Johnny and slowly lifted their, studying the ring with bated breath.

“You wanna marry her?”

“I’d be a good husband, Y/N’s friend,” Johnny rolled into his back and sighed dramatically, “give her the ring. Tell her she’s got a husband-“

“I will.” You closed the box and tucked it into your pocket then reached for a blank piece of paper and a pen.

SHE SAID YES — you drew in big, block letters and set the note down when Johnny had passed out. YOU HAVE A WIFE
