Sengoku telling Law "don’t try to find a reason for someone’s love" truly hits like a punch to the gut because it’s so impactful—so fucking important. It completely shatters Law’s view of love (and life) and how it must be transactional.

Finally, he realizes that Rosinante just loved him. There was no debt to be paid, no expectation. He can love and be loved without reason.
