DAY 13 (JULY 19TH): FLIP THE SCRIPT

Look, at the end of the day I didn’t mind that Zone wasn’t Yusei, but I kinda wish he was? I think it would be an amazing arc, if Zone was Yusei, it would be nice to see his past self ( current Yusei) fight against him, and even seeing Aki and co assist him. It would have nice message, sometimes we lose ourselves in despair, but people in our life CAN help us.

I saw you said in your post that you had talked about Luna/Ruka before. As a fan of her's I tried to find the post/posts you were talking about, but couldn't find it. Can you explain why you love her so much or send a link to the post talking about why you like her?

First, I want to apologize for answering so late, I was offline. 

Second, when it comes to Ruka, I talked about her more on my previous ( now not active) account. But short version is:

What I like about her the most is how she broke out from role imposed on her. I always had a feeling how because she was sickly as a child ( or to be more precise how she was overwhelmed with her powers/going to the Spirit world) her parents expected of her to be timid child protected by Rua/Leo and for several years she did that. She let Leo fight her battles for her etc.

The moment when she truly shines is when she finds her inner strength while being in Spirit world. Again, for the sake of others she decides to become the protector of Spirit world and I think defining moment of her growth is how she and Rua fight against Dark Signer together as equals not as someone who has to be protected. 

It’s almost a shame that because of WRGP arc she was almost cast aside ( to be fair almost everyone except Yusei) but in Zone arc Rua had really cool defining moment.
