DAY 15 (JULY 21ST): SPIRIT WORLD WALKER
The holy light of protection, now cross and become eternal life! She may be small, but she sure is mighty! Bow down to the protector of the Spirit World- Rua/Luna! Today’s day is all about her!
Not going to talk about her too much since I already did in previous days, so here’s some pics of her <3
Also, I am super salty we never seen Yusei some years later but we did see everyone else
DAY 16 (JULY 22ND): ME AND MY OC
I want to say I created one OC, but it more of a sketch? As in, I wanted to create someone who I would shipp with Crow, since I really like Crow, but how would that work since Crow really likes kids and I don’t want him to have children with my OC XD I just want him and OC to live chill life and maybe create some upgraded version of what Martha did with Satellite children. That woman is a saint.
DAY 17 (JULY 23RD): POLAR OPPOSITES
At first I wanted to show Rex from his Satellite days and him in Neo Domino city, but I think Ushio is a better choice.
Ushio is a person who used to be bully and in fact he bullied our very own Yugi
It is canon that Ushio from season 0 and 5d’s is the same person, confirmed by Yu Gi Oh creator. When we see him next time he’s a member of Sector Security with the same bullying tendencies. We see him as someone who looks down on people from Satellite, and someone who is full of prejudices about them. He becomes obsessive of Yusei, because Yusei is the one who escaped Satellite( in Ushio mind someone who rise up more than his place, people from Satellite are to stay down and live in poverty)
I think he started to change with the influence of Martha. I think seeing Martha and what she does for children is the first time he actually saw people from Satellite as people. In his mind he knows how the system works and he thinks people should be satisfied with their place.
Thanks to Taka and Martha he starts slowly changing his prejudice ways. Of course it helped a lot that Yusei by defeating Rex changed how things work in Neo Domino City, and Satellite is even connected to the NDS.
Later he becomes officer that a lot of people aspire to be, someone who wants to protect all people.
Years later there is not a trace of person he used to be and he stays in NDC.
What I like about his character the most is how he gradually changed. He changed his ways slowly due to circumstances and from his own learnt that he was wrong. When you realise on your own that you are wrong, those changes are permanent.
Also, I don’t like Mine, but his crush on her is very cute lol.

DAY 18 (JULY 24TH): HEART OF THE DRAGON
I always loved Rua. His enthusiasm and belief in justice is inspiring, not to mention he never felt any prejudice. Even when at one point all of his classmates thought he was the weakest one, he never gave up. I loved when he became a Signer. Crimson Dragon acknowledged his pure heart and made him his chosen duelist. Amazing moment :)
DAY 19 (JULY 25TH): FLEX YOUR CANON
We all have our different headcanons about the characters or story. What are yours? It can be anything from changing canon to implementing your own ideas!
This is kinda self indulging since most of my shipps end together but xd
-As per canon, Yusei stays in NDC, he’s single all the time, Akiza is successful doctor and has occasional relationships
-All the Signers meet up at least once a year to spend time together/catch up
-Jack is his usual self and is bantering with Crow who always say he will be the next King
-Rua is making name for himself, Luna blossoms and has a lot of friends/enjoying her time in university
-Kiryu finds peace within himself and is doing something similar as Martha did with Satellite children, takes care of children/lost youth in Satisfaction town
-Yusei is successful scientist and is making progress with his fathers work, he duels only for fun now (thank God) or when is asked to make a guest appearance in Duel school
-Sherry is still thirsty for Yusei ( she feels only passion though not love) but Yusei is playing dense
-In one of those met ups, Yusei and Aki are finally in place where they don’t put each other on pedestal . Aki accepted herself and loves herself, she’s grateful for all the things Yusei did for her, but love she feels for him is genuine, not the one that comes from feeling thankful. Yusei knows she doesn’t need his help anymore, and is happy she can stand on her own. He loves her for a strong woman she is. They have long distance relationship and eventually they make plans for moving in together.
-Jack in secret relationship with Carly all the time ( secret for public, his friends know)
-Tired of getting rejected by Yusei all the time, Shirley and Crow hook up, but will they be in a relationship only time will tell. For now, they are happy with how things are
DAY 20 (JULY 26TH): FREE DAY II/SUPPORT FELLOW CREATORS

DAY 21 (JULY 27TH). SPIN THE WHEEL, THROW A DART
Story tropes! This could be anything from a day on the beach, a sleepover episode, or anything in between! What trope do you wish to see in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds?
I just wish so many plot lines weren’t ignored like:
-Whole deal with Arcadia movement
-I think only Carly forgot about her Dark Signer days
-Ignoring that majority of the world is one messed up place, with NDC being almost an utopia
etc
But on more playful note, would love to see one more Is-it-date-or-not YuseixAki episode
Day 22 (July 14th): Tech Genius
Poor baby T-T He was first everyone’s punching bag ( remember when Jack hit him cause he thought he messed with his D Wheel xD) but I loved how he and Yusei geeked about D wheels. Even Crow and Jack were kinda jealous because he was hogging their best friend xD ( Aki was also were pissed lol)
He deserved much better than what happened to him T-T

DAY 23 (JULY 29TH): BAD GUY SYNDROME
Deff Zone.
And not because I wanted him to be Yusei
Mostly because he really came from noble intentions ( I won’t comment that he literally turned himself into his hero xD) He truly really gave his best, but despair overtook him when he realized that’s not enough, so he turned into extremist. But, at the end he was happy that Yusei defeated him, because his future will not happen ever again :)
I am going to write one day about Zone being Yusei even though it doesn’t make sense in canon, but damn it, I wished he was Yusei
DAY 24 (JULY 30TH): WE’RE HERE TOO!
Out of all the characters in the entire series, who do you feel is under-appreciated, or deserves more attention? Show us!
Time to gush about Martha <3
Living in Satellite place that it’s swimming in poverty and crime, she took upon herself to raise as much kids as she could, and set them on a right path. She usually could accomplish that, ( even if they strayed from path her doors would be open for them) and she always truly cared about them even when they grow up.
She is amazing in reading feelings and she played tough mother to even Trudge so he could forget even for a moment about his broken heart
Also I want to talk about Blitz, Nervin, Taka and Rally. They appeared more in first season, but I still liked them. They are amazing group of friends to Yusei. I am certain they helped him a lot when Yusei was all alone ( Kiryu being in prison, Crow leaving the team and Jack stealing the D wheel and Stardust in order to go to NDC) They truly care about about Yusei, and when Yusei was hurt during his duel with Kiryu they transported his D wheel from one end of Satellite to another, facing various gangs and playing toll so they can pass, they literally lost almost everything they own so they could protect Yusei’s D wheel
DAY 26 (AUGUST 1ST): IN THE Z-ONE
Z-ONE is the man behind the madness. What kind of man do you think he is? A man trying to save the world, or destroy it? Tell us!
I think he was originally very good man who lost himself along the way. Which isn’t that surprising knowing everything that happened. When he tried every possibility to save his time ( or to be more precise every possible scenario that Yusei would have done) his good ways were shattered, and later he was even more destroyed with the death of his friends.
He later did a lot of unforgivable stuff, but I still like him, and I am glad Yusei showed him new possibility of the future. It was really bittersweet when he said he wishes to meet again his friends in the changed future.
DAY 27 (AUGUST 2ND): PAIN VS PUFF PIECES
Angst vs Fluff. Do you prefer a fairytale ending or a bittersweet tragedy? Pick one and show off!
You know I thought I was all for bittersweet endings until I saw ending of Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains. Now, I want my YGO endings to be so happy it will make you cringe.
And again, I am so sad I haven’t seen Yusei in the final time skip T-T My partner said I haven’t missed much because he probably chills in his lab coat but I want to see that T-T

DAY 28 (AUGUST 3RD): TALE OF TWO STORIES
We now have seven Yu-Gi-Oh series! What would happen if one of our heroes from Team 5ds happened to meet someone from the past, or perhaps the future? Whether you prefer to rev it up, high five the sky, or get your game on, show us what you got!
Well, to be fair, we already have that situation in the movie xD Which I loved btw. Both canon version and parody one
After 5d’s I only watched Vrains which was almost traumatic experience. I would love to see Yusei and Yusaku interact. Yusaku is very similar to Yusei, both with general attitude and abilities. In fact, I kinda think, if Yusei didn’t have friends, he would probably end up as Yusaku. With ptsd, depression etc. I may watch arc v but I am very annoyed that they recycled old characters such as Crow, Jack etc
DAY 29 (AUGUST 4TH): YOU CAN SEE THEM TOO?

For some reason I l always loved Mystical elf the most, God knows why, it’s just a normal monster, but I guess I always liked its design?

Today is the last day, but we still have the road to tomorrow. What does the future hold?
