The beginning of an oil painting inspired by Macbeth
I just stumbled upon your art a few minutes ago, and your are an incredible artist! I absolutely adore your compositions and your colouration. You really inspire me! I can't wait to see more of your work.
:D Oh my gosh I've gotten so much nice feedback recently, thank you anon and thank you everyone for the notes and nice tags!!
Man I can't believe that you're also 17, your oil paintings and that color pencil drawing is incredible! Could you share some tips when it comes to doing such detailed color pencil art or oil paintings?
Thank you so much!! I'm flattered (^u^)For tips, I'd say to make sure that you have good reference for your artwork, and have really planned it out: the lighting, the composition, the pose; or at least have a good Idea about it. Don't be afraid to try out different compositions, and try not to put the subject of the piece in the center too much. Also, when painting/drawing people it's especially important to have reference so that you can pick out all the subtle color shifts in skin. I think being able to emulate all the different colors in skin and knowing some anatomy are what really make a piece come to life. Although really, all of this depends on what art style you are going for.I hope that helps a little bit! Thank you so much for the compliment and I wish you the best!
