Pounding shot after shot, beer after beer, anything it takes to forget. To forget all of the hurt, pain, and flat out disappointment. Why won’t he love you? What was wrong with you? You knew youΒ  could make Jisung happy, happier than anyone else could ever do. Why couldn’t he see this? What was so great about her? You fight the tears back and continue to drown your sorrows in the free flowing liquor, the only thing left to find solace in.Β

Somehow you ended up in the bathroom hugging the porcelain throne, uncontrollably spewing all of the contents in your stomach. You knew you were over doing it tonight, but you couldn’t control yourself. Emotions were something you never handled well. And this, well this night was probably one of the worst nights of your life.

You closed your eyes, instantly reliving the awful events from earlier in the evening.

Jisung was climbing out of the pool, glistening as the water beamed off of his perfectly toned body. He was total perfection and you couldn’t deny or contain your feelings for this man any longer.

β€œI love you, Park Jisung,” you blurted out before realizing you actually said the words.Β

Jisung’s head dropped. You knew he’d be surprised by your sudden outburst but ultimately you hoped that he would respect your determination, slight desperation and that alone would win him over.

β€œDon’t,” he stated, bluntly. β€œYou’re wasting your time.”

That was when the dagger was shoved deep into your chest. You were able to feel all of those earth shattering emotions as if it was the first time. You reopened your eyes, a tear escaping, streaming down your cheek. The vomiting continued until there was nothing left.Β

You wiped your mouth with the sleeve of your hoodie. You know how utterly disgusting that is to do but there is literally no one left to impress. You accept the fact that you are going to be alone forever, so why even try at this point. You push yourself up using the vomit covered toilet as support, stumbling out of the stall. Everything was spinning, and you knew full and well that you weren’t walking straight. Anyone with eyes would be able to see that you were clearly intoxicated. The door opened and there he was. You slightly fell towards him, uncontrollably.

 - . - ' *

You lay comfortably in the bed, sprawled out, finally happy in your state of semi-unconsciousness. The door slowly opens, the squeaking hinges disturbing your peace. You open your eyes, quickly getting out of bed and stumbling towards the man who entered the room. You are still quite intoxicated and still aren't stable on your feet. You stumble and fall into his arms.

β€œWhere am I?” you ask, trying to stand up on your own.

β€œMy room,” he says with a visible smirk on his face. β€œI took pity on you since you looked like a drunken dog.”

β€œWere you worried about me, Jisung?” you ask, placing your hand onto his shoulder in an attempt to stabilize yourself.

β€œOh you…” he sighs, grabbing your waist. β€œYou’re still drunk, aren’t you?”

β€œJisung,” you whisper, staring deeply into his eyes. β€œMay I ask you something?”

You quickly drop onto your knees pulling the boy down with you so he would still be eye to eye.

β€œWill you be mine?” you ask, desperately. β€œI’ll do my best to value you.”

He didn’t respond but the look on his face told you that he desired you too. You stare deeply into his eyes, searching for the confirmation you desperately want and need. You pull the boy onto the bed, hopping on top, straddling him between your legs. You lean down pressing your body tightly against his, you want more than anything to be able to press your lips tightly against his. For some reason, he still didn’t resist. You inch closer, slowly shutting your eyes waiting for the moment your lips would finally meet.

One day ago…

Park Jisung was standing in front of a book shelf in the university’s library.Β  He was peacefully scanning the books, obviously searching for a specific title.

You smiled when you spotted your crush all alone. There was no one around to get in the way and you could have some much needed alone time with the one man that drove you absolutely insane.

β€œWhat book are you looking for?” you happily asked, surprising him as you walked up from behind.

β€œOh,” Jisung smiled when he realized it was you. You noticed his cute bunny reaction and how uncomfortable he became in that moment, clearly showing he has some sort of feelings toward you. β€œJust a book to help with basic calculus. I’m not doing so well in that class.”

β€œI’m great at calc,” you boasted, with a huge stupid smile on your face. β€œLet me help you with that.”

Jisung froze for a moment before speaking, β€œno, it’s ok. Someone already gave me a list.”

You watched as Jisung quickly started to walk to another shelf. You took a deep breath before following again.Β

β€œWho? Dr. Karina?” you huffed, trying to hide your disdain but failing miserably.

Jisung slowly nodded, turning to look at you with a little smile on his face. Even though you knew he had a slight connection with her, it still stung. You’re selfish and you wanted him all to yourself.

β€œJisung…she may be better than me at school shit,” you smirked, trying to make seductive eyes in his direction. β€œBut I’m quite talented at other things.”

Donghyuck walked around the bookshelf, forcefully placing his body in between you and your β€˜love’.Β

β€œTalented at being annoying?” he hissed, staring intently into your eyes. β€œCan’t you see that my friend doesn’t want to talk to you?”

β€œIt’s none of your damn business,” you growled, cocking your head.

β€œI am your senior,” Donghyuck snapped as he flicked your forehead with his fingers. It caused you to wince but only because you didn’t expect him to touch you.

β€œAm I supposed to be scared?” you asked, displaying a visible scowl on your face.

β€œHey Hyuck,” Jisung said, grabbing his friend by the arm to pull him back. β€œYou’re disturbing the other people in here, let’s just go.”

Donghyuck glared for a moment and you were waiting for some unnecessary, unneeded words to come out of his mouth but to your surprise he silently turned around and followed Jisung. Before he was out of sight completely, Donghyuck turned to make eye contact while pointing a forceful finger in your direction. β€œLeave my friend the fuck alone.” He stared for a moment longer for impact then turned and disappeared out of sight, leaving you standing alone very aggravated. For some reason Donghyuck had an issue with you and you didn’t understand why. You never did anything to him personally and yet he was always so nasty. But you weren’t going to let some asshole deter your feelings for the man you knew was your soulmate.

Donghyuck followed Jisung out of the library and then the two boys went their separate ways. Donghyuck had a lunch date with the only thing that made him happy these days, his loving girlfriend, Yeji. He practically ran to the lunch table where they meet almost every day, smiling eagerly when he saw Yeji already sitting at their table.

β€œSorry I’m a little late, babe,” Donghyuck said before kissing his girlfriend’s face and taking his rightful seat next to her.

β€œIt’s ok, Hyuckie,” Yeji smiled, not looking up from her phone. She was always distracted with her phone, never seeming to pay him enough attention but just the fact that she was his was enough, for now.Β Β

β€œI was in the library with Sung and that annoying bitch was harassing him again,” Donghyuck explained to his clearly uninterested girlfriend. β€œJisung is too nice so I had to step in.”

β€œOh ok,” she nodded.

β€œIf she was a guy, I would have knocked her out for the way she was acting,” Donghyuck continued.

β€œShe just follows her heart, Hyuckie,” Yeji whined, finally setting her phone on the table, momentarily.

β€œBut…” Donghyuck exhaled slowly out of frustration, pondering how to word what he wanted to say properly without upsetting his love too much. β€œJisung made it clear that he doesn’t like her.”

Yeji smiled, gently touching Donghyuck’s cheek, β€œWell, I remember there was once somebody who was coming to see me every day, regardless of what I said.”

β€œNo, that’s not the same thing,” Donghyuck argued with a goofy smile on his face, just happy that she touched him. β€œYou weren’t annoyed by me, were you?”

β€œYou’re right,” she smiled while nodding. β€œBut I will get annoyed if you don’t take me out to a wonderful dinner tonight.”

β€œTonight?” Donghyuck repeated which she nodded in response. β€œI have plans with Jaemin and friends.”

Yeji turned away, crossing her arms and pouting, β€œyou told me that you would have more time for me after your report was finished.”

β€œHow about this?” Donghyuck said readjusting in his seat. β€œI’ll be at your place before ten. I promise.”

β€œI don’t believe you,” Yeji continued pouting as she picked up her phone again.

β€œBut I promise,” he insisted.

Yeji smiled, shaking her head no, β€œI don’t believe you.”

β€œI promise,” he repeated again and she shook her head again, playfully.

 - . - ' *

β€œSo are you coming tonight?” Donghyuck asked while looking down at his friend who was hanging onto the side of the university’s pool.

β€œOh boy,” Jisung winced at the thought, reaching up to scratch his head while contemplating his answer. β€œI don’t know, I have practice early in the morning so I probably should just stay in tonight.”

You started walking out from the locker room, noticing the two boys talking. You weren’t trying to eavesdrop but you needed to talk to Jisung and you definitely didn’t want to do it with that asshole, Donghyuck, there.

β€œOh come on,” Donghyuck whined. β€œYou don’t need to practice, you’re already the best we have. Plus you NEVER hang out with us anymore.”

β€œYou ALWAYS use that as an excuse,” Jisung rolled his eyes before taking a dramatically deep breath. β€œFine, I’ll go.”

Donghyuck clapped his hands, victoriously, β€œthat’s what I’m talking about. I’ll get ready and I’ll see you there. Okay?”

β€œYes yes,” Jisung nodded, clearly irritated but still smiling at how childish his friend can be.

Donghyuck turned around, seeing you standing there, patiently waiting your turn to talk to Jisung. His demeanor instantly shifted. You still didn’t understand why you had that kind of effect on him but that wasn’t important at the moment. Donghyuck headed over in your direction and you weren’t sure what was going through his mind but if looks could kill, you certainly wouldn’t be taking another breath on this planet.

β€œHyuck, stop that,” Jisung ordered about to climb out of the pool. β€œShe’s here to practice, that’s all.”

Donghyuck stopped for a moment, turning to look at Jisung then back at you. He looked as though he was going to say something, ignorant, you're sure but, for some reason nothing was said. He stormed off, without even saying goodbye to his friend. Jisung stared at Donghyuck, making sure he continued to leave before lifting his body out of the pool. You watched as the water dripped off of his perfect figure. He grabbed a towel from the bench and started walking in the opposite direction of where you were standing.

β€œHey Jisung,” you called out, silently panicking because whenever he looks at you, you can feel your body losing control.

Jisung slowly turned around, β€œwhat?” he asked.

β€œCan I be honest with you?” you wondered as the panic really started to set in. You felt antsy and scared but also excited because deep down you truly believed you already knew what the outcome was going to be.

β€œWhat’s up?” Jisung asked, smiling so sincerely he looked like he was ready to laugh.

Laugh at you? That can’t be, Jisung isn’t the type of person to laugh at someone in this situation.

β€œI love you, Park Jisung,” you blurted out before realizing you actually said those words.

Jisung’s head dropped. You knew he’d be surprised by your sudden outburst but ultimately you hoped that he would respect your determination, slight desperation and that alone would win him over.

β€œDon’t,” he stated, bluntly. β€œYou’re wasting your time.”

β€œWhy?” you asked, heartbroken, not only by his words but also the tone. β€œKarina likes you. And I like you too. Is there any difference?”

Jisung hesitated for a moment, β€œthere is. I like her, not you.”

β€œCan’t you just give me a chance?” you pleaded, trying to hold back the tears that you could feel forming in your eyes. β€œI promise you, I’m going to make you like me one day.”

β€œYou can’t do that because the only person I have feelings for is Karina,” Jisung stated, sounding more confident in his words than he has ever in the past.Β

You wanted to say more, you wanted to ask what was wrong with you but the words wouldn’t come out. Jisung slowly turned and walked away leaving you behind broken into little pieces. He didn’t seem to care in the least and that hurt more than his words could ever.

 - . - ' *

You make your way to the local bar where everyone from the university hangs out. The only thing to do at this point is to drown your feelings with as much alcohol that you can consume. Shot after shot, beer after beer, anything it takes.

Donghyuck was sitting at a table across the bar with his friends. Happily drinking in their own world.

β€œCome on, make a toast,” Jaemin said, raising his glass up signaling for his other friends to join him in the act.

β€œAlright alright,” Donghyuck said, raising his glass. He cleared his throat dramatically before speaking. β€œHere’s to all that wish us well and those that don’t can go to hell.”

β€œCHEERS!” everyone shouted out in unison, clicking their glasses together before chugging their full pints of beer.

β€œMark is paying for today,” Jeno announced.

β€œOf course, my mom gave me a lot of money last night,” Mark boasted.

β€œYour mom?” Chenle asked. β€œDon’t you mean your sugar momma?”

β€œYea same thing,” Mark shrugged, confused by the difference.

Jaemin zoned out of the conversation, noticing Donghyuck chug his entire beer. β€œAre you in a rush?” he asked.

β€œIndeed I am,” Donghyuck nodded. β€œRight now my girl is at home sulking.”

β€œWhoa what is this?” Jeno asked, with judgment written all over his face.Β

β€œYou’re drinking with friends, not with a bunch of girls,” Chenle laughed, joining in on the judgment.

β€œRight,” Soojin chimed in, amused by her friend acting whipped.

β€œThe thing is,” Donghyuck smiled, sitting back in his chair while folding his arms across his chest. β€œSingle people like you couldn’t possibly understand my situation.”

β€œOuch,” Soojin gasped, placing a hand on her chest, pretending to be insulted. β€œYou’re hurting my feelings.”

β€œYou’re not the only one who has someone,” Mark chimed in.Β

β€œThat’s right,” Chenle nodded with a shit eating grin on his face. β€œMark has his mom.”

β€œThat’s right,” Mark boasted, proudly. β€œI have my sugar mommy.”

β€œIt’s sugar momma,” Donghyuck laughed. β€œAnd that is not the same thing.”

β€œWhat about Jisung?” Jeno asked. β€œI thought he was coming?”

β€œYea I texted him,” Soojin said, pulling her phone out to make sure she didn’t receive a text back. β€œYou better call him, Hyuck.”

Donghyuck picked up his phone to call his friend to find out where he was at. β€œHey, where you at?” he listened to his friend’s explanation on the other line, with the occasional β€œuh huh” signaling he understood. β€œAlright man, get some rest, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.” He disconnected the call, placing his phone down onto the table, trying to hide the mix of emotions he was feeling. He smiled at his friends who were currently staring at him, waiting for an explanation. β€œUm, so Jisung isn’t feeling well so he’s just going to stay home tonight.”

β€œAwwww he always bails on us anymore,” Mark complained.

β€œLeave him alone,” Soojin snapped. β€œThe championships are coming up soon and he does need some rest.”

β€œWhat are you his mom?” Mark asked, rolling his eyes.

β€œI’m sure as hell ain’t your mom,” she laughed.

Donghyuck looked around the bar, annoyed by so much at this point, his eyes caught yours when you just happened to look up from your own battle.Β  You cocked your head, refusing to look away. That asshole did not want to mess with you, not the way you were feeling tonight. But he was refusing to look away. Maybe it was to prove a point, whatever the reason you didn’t care.

You cocked your head and lipped, β€œwhat the fuck are you looking at?”

β€œWHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?!” Donghyuck yelled, standing up abruptly. Jaemin quickly grabbed his arm, pulling him back down into his seat.

β€œWhat’s going on?” Mark asked.

β€œCalm down, Donghyuck,” Jeno ordered.

β€œWhy were you staring at her like that anyways,” Jaemin asked.

Donghyuck didn’t respond, he sat silent slowly sipping his beer.Β

β€œI’ll be back, I gotta take a piss,” Donghyuck said before standing up and making his way into the men’s room. As he was peeing, he thought he heard the sounds of someone vomiting. When he was done he turned and noticed you in your current state of despair while hugging the porcelain throne. Donghyuck almost offered you help but he knew you would deny any assistance, especially coming from him. He turned around shaking his head, walking to once again join his friends.

β€œAlright guys, this is my last drink,” he smiled, sitting down in his seat.

β€œCheers,” everyone said in unison and clinking their glasses for the last time of the evening.

β€œActually, you guys should stay,” Donghyuck announced, looking around.

β€œI think we’re done anyways,” Soojin said, looking at everyone else who were also nodding their heads.

β€œLet’s all leave together,” Mark smiled.

β€œYea next time when Jisung can come, we’ll party till the sun comes out,” Jaemin suggested.

β€œYea ok,” Donghyuck nodded with a small smile on his face, appreciating how good of people his friends were, at times. β€œSo I’m done for today, my girl is waiting.”

β€œAlright,” Chenle said, waving goodbye, β€œwe’ll see ya.”

You finally stumbled out of the bathroom, heading towards the exit. You had more than enough and you just had to get home. There were shady looking men standing near the door. Normally you wouldn’t trust going around guys like that but in this state, the only urgency you felt was to get the hell home.

β€œHey sexy lady,” the one man smirked, aggressively grabbing the crotch of his pants. β€œI have something you would like.”

β€œUgh,” you responded with total utter disgust. If you wouldn’t have already vomited everything in your stomach, this surely would have made you get sick.

β€œThat’s no way to talk to a man, bitch,” he growled, grabbing a hold of your wrist. He squeezed so tight you were certain it would leave bruises.

You instinctively smacked him across his face, β€œfuck you.”

Without hesitation the man smacked you back causing you to fall to the ground. He walked towards you snarling, β€œyes, I will be fucking you.”

Donghyuck ran over shoving the man, β€œback the fuck up,” he growled.

β€œWho the fuck are you?” the man snarled.

β€œI’m her friend and I’m taking her home,” Donghyuck announced, helping you up off the ground. β€œCome on, let’s go.”

He wrapped his arm around your waist to hold you up so he could guide you outside.

β€œYou’re helping me, Jisung?” you asked.

β€œYou drank way too much,” Donghyuck induced. He let go of you and pushed you onto your car that was sitting in the parking lot. β€œGet home yourself, my girl is waiting for me.”

As Donghyuck started to walk away, you panicked.Β  β€œHey where are you going?”

Donghyuck didn’t respond, he turned around once when he reached his motorcycle to see you slowly fall down the side of your car onto the ground. Your eyes felt so heavy and you were just over this night. You leaned down laying your head on your gravel pillow. Hopefully something happens to you during the night and you wouldn’t open your eyes in the morning. It has to be better than dealing with these awful feelings.

Donghyuck turned to get onto his motorcycle, hesitating. Even though you two didn’t get along he'd feel guilty if something bad happened to you. He turned, walked over and picked you up off of the ground with little to no resistance. He gently placed his only helmet on your head making sure it was nice and tight.

β€œJisung, thank you for this,” you mumbled as you climbed on the back of his bike.Β

Donghyuck grabbed your arms, placing them around his waist, β€œhold on tight, ok?”

β€œI’ll hold on to you forever, Jisungie,” you said, resting your head against Donghyuck’s back. You close your eyes, feeling like you're in a dream, holding onto him with everything you had left in you.

Donghyuck pulled the motorcycle inside a garage on the outskirts of town. He quickly hopped off and turned to assist you. He pulled the helmet off of your head, placing it back onto his bike. He then helped you off, so you wouldn’t lose your balance and fall.

β€œIs this your home, Jisungie?” you ask, playfully hitting his chest. In your mind you performed this move seductively but in reality you look like a buffoon who is clearly way too intoxicated.

Donghyuck shakes his head at the state that you’re in then helps you up a set of stairs leading into a bedroom. He attempted to drop you onto his bed but you pulled him down with you. You’re not going to let him go that easily. He quickly sat up and you followed suit, wrapping your arms around his neck.

β€œWon’t you sleep with me?” you begged. You would never beg for something like this while sober but clearly you weren’t thinking straight. Donghyuck attempted to pull away with a grunt of fake disgust.

β€œWhy are you disgusted by me?” you asked, attempting to stare into his eyes. β€œHuh, Jisungie?”

Donghyuck panicked, pushing away from your grip, β€œYes I am,” he grunted, pushing you back onto his bed. You wanted to sit back up but your body wouldn’t cooperate, you started to fall victim to the sandman.

Donghyuck watched you for a few seconds while he took off his jacket, throwing it onto a chair in the room. He walked outside of his bedroom leaving you alone in his bed, walking back downstairs to the garage. He pulled his cell phone out of his pants pocket, seeing that he had twelve missed calls. β€œFuck,” he grunted before dialing back the girlfriend that he loved but stood up to help the girl that he couldn’t stand.

β€œWhat the hell, Hyuck, where are you?” Yeji asked immediately once she answered the phone.

β€œI’m at home,” he hesitated. β€œWell, it’s kind of a long story but I can’t come over tonight. I’m really sorry, baby.”

Yeji sat silent, not understanding his reasons for why he didn’t want to see her.Β

β€œAre you mad at me, baby?” Donghyuck asked, holding his breath, scared to hear her answer.

Yeji exhaled deeply before responding, β€œno, I guess not.”

β€œReally?” Donghyuck asked, surprised.

β€œI’m really tired, I’m just going to go to bed now,” she sighed as she quickly hung up her phone.

β€œGoodnight, baby, I love you,” Donghyuck expressed before realizing the call was already disconnected. He attempted to call her back a few times with no answer. β€œDamn it, I shouldn't have helped her. I should have just left her there.” He grabbed a beer out of the fridge and chugged it, then another, and another. By the time he was finally done drinking, he wasn’t quite as upset. He made his way back to his bedroom where you were still laying in his bed. You heard the door close, waking you from your slumber. You stretched out, rubbing your eyes, in shock that Jisung was here with you, wherever here was. You stood up, stumbling over towards your love, reaching out for him, β€œwhere are we?”

β€œMy room,” Donghyuck responded, fighting off your advances. β€œI took pity on you since you looked like a drunken dog.”

β€œWere you worried about me, Jisung?” you asked, placing your hand onto his shoulder in an attempt to stabilize yourself.

β€œYou’re still drunk, aren’t you?” Donghyuck snapped, grabbing your waist.

β€œJisung,” you whispered, staring deeply into his eyes. β€œMay I ask you something?”

β€œNo,” Donghyuck snapped, pushing you out of his comfort zone.

β€œPlease,” you begged.

β€œWhat is it, damn it, ” he asked annoyedly, grabbing your shoulder, pulling you in closer to his face, trying to show you how irritated he currently was. β€œIf I was Jisung, what would you ask me?”

β€œYou,” you whispered, wanting so badly to kiss him. β€œI want you, Jisung.” You dropped down to your knees pulling the boy down with you so he would still be eye to eye.

β€œWould you be mine?” you ask, desperately. β€œI’ll do my best to value you.” There it was the moment you have been waiting for, you move closer, inching your lips towards his.

β€œI’m not…” Donghyuck starts, attempting to pull away from you but you were not going to give up that easily. You pull the boy onto the bed, hopping on top, straddling him between your legs. You lean down pressing your body tightly against his, wanting more than anything to be able to press your lips tightly against his. β€œSto…”

β€œPlease,” you quickly interrupted him. β€œI’m begging you, give me just tonight and I won’t bother you anymore.”

Donghyuck didn’t respond, you stare intently into each other’s eyes. You could feel that he did want you at that moment. You slowly lower your face closer to his, gently placing your lips against his. The taste of beer stained his lips but that was the best tasting beer you ever had in your life. You could feel the passion while he kissed you back which only drove you more insane. You made your way to his neck, lightly kissing and sucking, playfully teasing him. Donghyuck turned his head, blocking you from his neck, forcing your lips to meet again. He gently rolled you over, crawling on top of you. He pulled away, lifting his shirt up over his head, throwing it onto the floor. You sat up, needing to feel his lips again, grabbing at his belt, attempting to get it out of the way. Donghyuck let out a slight chuckle at your struggle, pushing your hands away and loosened the buckle and his jeans. He slid out of the unnecessary clothing kicking them onto the floor as well. He gently removed your clothing, throwing them onto the pile with his. He lowered you back down onto his bed, running his hand over your smooth skin. This was the moment you have always wanted and it felt perfect.

The morning light peeked through the blinds, disturbing your peaceful sleep. You open your eyes and even though your head was throbbing you are still ecstatic. You finally had your chance with the man you love and you are positive that after what you two shared that Jisung is going to be yours forever. You feel his hand lightly touch your hair which makes you smile.

Β β€œJisungie,” you whisper before turning over to look at your love. Your smile instantly drops from your face. β€œWhat the fuck,” you panic, sitting up and covering your still naked body with the sheet that was on his bed.

Seonghwa removes a cigar from the top drawer of his desk, lighting it while leaning back in his chair.

He takes a deep breath before speaking, β€œI guess it’s time. Bring β€˜em all in here.”

Jongho immediately stands up and rushes out of the room, returning moments later followed by San, Wooyoung, Mingi, and Yunho.Β

β€œWhat’s this all about?” Mingi asked while taking an empty seat on the sofa next to Wooyoung and San.

β€œDon’t question the Dragon,” Jongho ordered while sitting back down on the chair across from Seonghwa’s desk.Β

Seonghwa ignoring the boy’s curiosity, looked around the room, β€œWhere is Hongjoong?” he asked, β€œI thought I told you to bring them ALL in here.”

β€œI told him…” Jongho started.

β€œHe’s coming,” San rolled his eyes, β€œdo we really have to wait on his ass to start this shit?”

Seonghwa shot a glare in San’s direction, β€œhaven’t I told you before that patience is a virtue?”

β€œUmmm…” San hesitated, β€œwell I mean sure but I think Gandhi saidΒ  β€˜he who hesitates is lost’.”

β€œOoooh Gandhi was really smart too,” Mingi smiled.

β€œIf you’re gonna quote, make sure you’re quoting the correct person…It wasn’t Gandhi, it was Joseph Addison,” Seonghwa snarled. β€œNow shut the fuck up boy and sit quietly before I shut your ass up for you.”

Wooyoung turned to look at San with wide eyes, laughing maniacally, β€œyou’re as dumb as Mingi.”

San punched Wooyoung in the arm, β€œwho the fuck are you calling dumb, psycho?”

Wooyoung stopped laughing immediately, a red flash glinted in his eyes, β€œI’ll show you who I’m calling dumb,” he growled.

Jongho slowly stood up and walked over in front of the boys, taking a deep breath, he smacked Wooyoung and San on the back of their heads, β€œKnock it the fuck off,” he commanded.

Before either of the boys had time to respond, Hongjoong strutted into the office, sitting in the now-empty chair that was once occupied by Jongho.

β€œIt was so nice of you to save me a seat,” Hongjoong smiled crossing his legs to get comfortable.

β€œIt’s about time you decide to grace us with your presence,” Seonghwa cocked his head in agitation.

β€œWell you know, I am a busy man too,” Hongjoong smirked, β€œIt’s hard to stop everything at the drop of a hat.”

β€œGet the hell out of my seat!” Jongho growled, shooting a look of death in Hongjoong’s direction.Β

β€œHmmm…I didn’t see your name on it,” Hongjoong smirked, readjusting to get more comfortable.

β€œJongho,” Seonghwa whispered.Β

Everyone looked at Seonghwa, waiting for his response, but he only shook his head no, slowly. Jongho exhaled, crossing his arms, but didn’t dare to say another word.

β€œI received intel about Seven and they are currently searching for an unknown female, who has crucial information about them,” Seonghwa started. β€œAnd we need to…”

β€œWe need to kill her,” Wooyoung interrupted excitedly.

β€œOooh can I blow her up?” Yunho asked moving closer to Seonghwa. β€œI have a new bomb I’m dying to try out.”

β€œNo,” Seonghwa smacked his hand against the desk, β€œwe need to find her first and find out why this bitch is so imperative.”

Everyone’s phones dinged at once causing them to look at what they received.Β

Yunho looked at the boy who was sitting quietly on his laptop in the corner of the room and said, β€œthanks Yeosang.”

Yeosang nodded in response without taking his eyes off of his computer.

β€œThis is the description we have of her, as vague as it may be, I have faith in all of you that you will be able to successfully find the target and bring her here…alive.” Seonghwa said.

β€œ5’3, 100 pounds, long blonde hair with purple streaks throughout, and hazel eyes,” Wooyoung read.

β€œNot really giving us much to work with, boss,” Yunho sighed as the boys' phones dinged again.

β€œLee Y/N,” San read aloud, β€œsuch an average name and average description. This sounds like it’s gonna be a mundane mission.”

β€œAs mundane as it may seem, the boss man deems it be important, so stop the damn complaining and do as you’re told without all the bellyaching,” Jongho snarled.

Seonghwa nodded, β€œYeosang has tracked down her location and she is staying in the next town over. She seems to be frequenting a local nightclub there.”

Their phones dinged once more.

β€œThe quality is not satisfactory but it’s better than nothing, however, this is a picture from the CCTV that Yeosang managed to secure after hacking their systems,” Seonghwa continued.

β€œHongjoong, I want you to go to the club with Wooyoung and bring this girl here,” Seonghwa ordered.

β€œCan I hurt her?” Wooyoung asked with a smile from ear to ear.

β€œNo,” Seonghwa snapped, β€œI need her to be fully intact when I get home.”

β€œYou never let me have any fun,” Wooyoung pouted.

β€œI’m gonna blow the club up after they get her out, so there won’t be any evidence of her being in there,” Yunho smirked hopefully.

Seonghwa rubbed his temples with both hands, β€œYunho, calm down, you will not be blowing anything up this time, but I do have another important mission for you, Mingi, and San.”

β€œI’m waiting…” Mingi states impatiently.

β€œThere’s a woman in Thailand that I need you guys to go meet. She has intel on an important drug deal about to go down, involving Seven. You will be flying out tonight, she will meet you at the airport and I want to know everything she has to offer,” Seonghwa explains.

β€œI think I’d be more useful here,” San announced, β€œthey’re gonna need help getting the information out of this little bitch once they get her home.”

β€œI gave my orders,” Seonghwa snapped. β€œYeosang, send them the picture of Hani.”

Yeosang nodded and shortly after Yunho, Mingi, and San’s phones dinged.

β€œThis is who you will be meeting. Tell her I sent you. I don’t want violence of any kind. She is with our allies, we need to show respect.” Seonghwa demanded.

β€œAnd what is your little pet going to be doing during all of this?” Hongjoong huffed pointing to Jongho aggressively.

Jongho started towards Hongjoong, fists clenched, when Seonghwa spoke up, β€œJongho, Stop!” causing Jongho to stop immediately.

Hongjoong smirked, β€œStay doggie.”

Jongho inhaled deeply, cocking his head, staring a hole through Hongjoong.

β€œDid we get a dog?” Mingi excitedly looked around. β€œWhere is she or he? I don’t want to assume its gender.”

β€œIdiot,” Yeosang unexpectedly mumbled.

Mingi’s eyes widened, β€œAre you calling me an idiot or is that the dog’s name?”

Yeosang rolled his eyes and went back to looking at his laptop.

β€œThere is no dog, Mingi, Hongjoong was calling Jongho Seongwha’s dog,” San explained.

Mingi bursted out with laughter, β€œOooooooh. That’s funny.”

Yunho leaned back against the wall, β€œI swear you get stupider every damn day.”

β€œEnough!” Seonghwa yelled. β€œIt’s none of your concern what Jongho does but he’s coming with me. I am meeting up with a contact about possibly expanding our arsenal.”

β€œOooooh we’re getting some new toys,” Yunho’s eyes widened with excitement.

β€œPossibly but for now I need everyone to focus on the mission in hand,” Seonghwa ordered with a wave of his hand, β€œYou are all dismissed.”

Everyone slowly got up and exited the office.

β™₯️♠️ Later that evening♦️♣️

β€œSan! Come on, we gotta go, the cars waiting,” Mingi yelled up the stairs.

San stomped down the stairs, β€œdon’t get your panties in a bunch, the jet won’t leave without us.”

β€œBut I’m not wearing any panties,” Mingi announced, confused.

Yunho smacked Mingi’s arm, β€œyou don’t always have to say whatever comes into your head.”

β€œIf I don’t say it, then how will you know what I’m thinking?” Mingi asked. β€œOr can you read minds now?”

Yunho rolled his eyes, walking out of the front door, followed by Mingi and then San shortly behind. They entered the blacked out limousine that was parked outside of their mansion. The limo drove to an airport and the boys entered the private jet that was waiting on them.

Once inside Yunho took a seat by a window and immediately started scrolling through his phone. San found the mini bar and made a concoction of different liquors, smiling after taking the first sip. Mingi sat in the seat directly to the right of Yunho, placing his chin in his right hand, staring at Yunho.

Yunho glanced up from his phone, β€œwhat the fuck are you looking at?” he asked.

β€œWhat am I thinking?” Mingi wondered.

β€œHow the fuck would I know?” Yunho snapped.

β€œI want you to use your super powers and read my mind,” Mingi smiled. β€œTell me what I am thinking.”

Yunho smacked Mingi’s arm that was holding his face up causing his head to drop for a second. β€œYou’re a fucking idiot. I don’t have super powers and I can’t read minds.”

β€œBut you said…”Mingi started.

β€œI meant you need to stop saying every fucking stupid thought that comes into your head,” Yunho snapped.

β€œOh,” Mingi pouted. β€œThat’s disappointing.”

The jet took off and the rest of the ride to Thailand was uneventful. The landing was rough, the jet came to an abrupt stop. They all headed to the door but was met with a handful of men in suits with guns pointed at them. San slowly reached his hand in the waistband of his pants placing his hand on the butt of his favorite gun. Mingi placed his hand on San’s shoulder, signaling for him to hold off exposing his weapon.

β€œI think we have a misunderstanding here,” Mingi smiled coyly.Β

β€œI don’t believe we do,” one of the armed men argued.

Mingi laughed, β€œof course we do. We were sent here by The Dragon, Hani is expecting us.”

The armed men looked at each other, guns still aimed at the boys, when a blacked out Cadillac limousine pulled behind the armed men. The driver’s window slowly went down and a man said, β€œLet them through.”

The armed men hesitantly made room for the boys to walk through to the limousine with their weapons still drawn. Yunho reached over to the one and adjusted the man’s black blazer jacket, β€œit was wonderful meeting you, gentlemen. We’ll have to do this again sometime.” He smiled and followed Mingi and San into the car.

Inside there was a woman, holding a glass of champagne. Once the boys were inside, sitting adjacent to her, and the door was closed, she sipped some champagne before reaching under her left leg pulling out a black and pink semi automatic pistol. She pointed it at them with a smile on her face, still holding her champagne in the other hand.Β Β

β€œTell me who you are now,” she demanded.

San instinctively reached for his gun but was stopped by Mingi, β€œNot yet,” he whispered. β€œI’m Maverick, this is the Mad Hatter, and that’s Viper. We were sent to meet you by the Dragon.”

β€œThe Dragon, you say. Well, what if I say I’m a dragon slayer?” the woman asked coyly.

β€œThen I’d have to say that you’re kind of shit out of luck since the dragon isn’t here and you seem to be lacking your sword,” Mingi smirked.

β€œHmmm, aren’t you a quick one?” she asked, Yunho couldn’t help but to snicker. β€œWhat’s so funny, little boy?”

β€œI don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone refer to Maverick as being quick,” Yunho explained, Mingi elbowing Yunho in the ribs.

β€œAnyways, now that you know who we are, are you gonna confirm that you’re Hani, so we can get to business?” Mingi interrupted.

Hani rolled her eyes and returned her gun to its original location under her thigh.Β  β€œI am Hani, now how can I be of assistance to you?”

β€œThe Dragon said you had information on a huge drug deal that is supposed to be going down soon,” San said, still holding the butt of his gun ready for anything.

β€œYes. Seven has a delivery coming into this airport on friday. It’s said to have 110 kilos of heroin,” Hani confirmed.

β€œHow do you know this is true?” Yunho questioned.

β€œI have my ways and I’m not at liberty to discuss that, however, once the heroin is removed from the plane it will be taken to Hotel Malaga, which has a nightclub, where Jackson Wang will be coming to retrieve the goods.” Hani continued. β€œThat’s where you guys come in. You will need to steal the drugs from Wang and take them to the Dragon. He will know what to do from there.”

β€œShit,” Yunho snapped. β€œDid you guys hear that?”

Everyone looked at him confused. β€œHear what?” San asked.

Yunho placed a finger to his mouth signaling for everyone to be quiet. β€œGet down,” he ordered.

Gunshots started to fire, bullets ricocheting off the sides of the limousine.Β Β

β€œWhat the fuck is happening?” Mingi whispered yelled.

β€œThey must have found out we were meeting,” Hani announced.Β  She retrieved her pistol from under her thigh and glanced up through the window.Β  When her eyes reached the level where she could see out, a bullet came through, penetrating into her skull in between her eyes. Her body fell lifeless onto the floor of the limo, blood soaking the floor around her head.

Yunho crawled over to Hani, placing his two fingers on her neck under her jaw, next to the windpipe, he waited a few seconds before releasing her and shaking his head, β€œshe’s gone.”

The gunshots continued, making the boys feel like caged animals. Yunho took his gun that was taped to his ankle and used the butt to bust the window to the driver out. He crawled through only to see the driver slumped over the wheel. β€œOk mister driver, we’re about to have some fun,” he whispered, maneuvering underneath the body of the driver, hoping to be able to use his lifeless body as a shield from any bullets. He cracked the driver’s neck so his head could cover all of Yunho’s head from the left side to prevent exposure.Β Β

Yunho fired the limo up, began driving without having any idea of where he was headed. He drove aimlessly through the town until he came to a corn field and without hesitation he drove into the field, hoping that the crops would aid in their camouflage from the impending enemy.Β

β€œWhat the fuck was that driving?” San complained once the limo came to a complete stop.

β€œI had to do what I had to do to get away from that shit,” Yunho laughed.

β€œWhere are we?” Mingi asked, looking around to see corn surrounding them.Β

β€œIt looks like we’re in a corn field,” San huffed, β€œbut what the hell do I know?”

β€œWhat are we gonna tell Seonghwa?” Mingi took a deep breath. β€œEspecially about her.”

β€œWell if you ask me, she looks better like this anyways,” Yunho smirked.

β€œYou’re one sick fuck,” San snapped. β€œYou’re starting to sound like Wooyoung.”

Just then, Mingi’s phone began to ring, he looked to see Seonghwa was calling. He answered, placing the call on speaker, β€œGo ahead.”

β€œWhat the fuck did you idiots do?” Seonghwa yelled.

β€œYo boss man, this wasn’t our fault. Someone was shooting up the limo, we had to do what we had to do to make it out alive,” San explained

β€œIs everyone ok?” Seonghwa asked.

β€œYea,” San, Mingi, and Yunho sang in unison.

β€œBut Hani wasn’t as lucky,” San interjected looking down at Hani’s body that was now lying against the left door due to Yunho’s manic driving.

β€œAt least you three are fine. You’re my only concern. I’ll figure out what to tell our allies about Hani, later,” Seonghwa sighed. β€œYeosang is sending a helicopter to the field that you’re in, wait there for it. We’ll discuss what you learned when I get home from China.” He hung up the phone before anyone had the chance to respond.

Yunho looked through the window at Hani, β€œcan I bring her home with us?” he asked.

β€œYou sick fuck,” San snapped.

Wooyoung sat in an SUV parked outside their mansion, patiently waiting for Hongjoong to come outside. The front door flew open and Hongjoong strutted outside and got into the passenger’s side of the truck.Β

β€œIt’s about fucking time,” Wooyoung hissed as he started the car and drove off.

β€œYou can’t rush perfection,” Hongjoong smirked looking at himself in the mirror located in the sun visor above his head.

β€œYou look the same as you did two hours ago,” Wooyoung argued while driving towards the club.

β€œMaybe to the naked eye but that’s only because I’m naturally this sexy,” Hongjoong boasted.Β

β€œWhatever you say,” Wooyoung said not really understanding what Hongjoong meant.

Wooyoung didn’t think the way Hongjoong thought. He didn’t consider anyone to be β€œsexy”. There’s only killable and non killable people and he didn’t know where sexy fit into that mix.

β€œSo when we get there, I’m gonna go inside and get that bitch to leave with me and you’ll wait out here, okay?” Hongjoong explained.

β€œThen I’ll snap her neck when she gets into the truck,” Wooyoung added.

β€œNooooo,” Hongjoong shook his head. β€œRemember, we have to keep her alive…Seonghwa’s orders.”

β€œCan’t we just say it was an accident,” Wooyoung begged, β€œPleeeeaaassssse.”

β€œNo!” Hongjoong snapped. β€œYou’re not gonna kill her in the truck.”

β€œFine,” Wooyoung pouted.Β

Wooyoung pulled into an alleyway behind the club and parked the truck against an adjacent building. Hongjoong put an earpiece into his left ear that was out of sight to the naked eye. β€œCan you hear me, Ghost?” Hongjoong asked.

β€œLoud and clear,” Yeosang responded. β€œDevil isn’t connected, though.”

Hongjoong smacked Wooyoung’s shoulder, β€œput your earpiece in,” he ordered.

β€œUghhh,” Wooyoung moaned, β€œI hate wearing that. It interferes too much with the voices I already hear.”

β€œYou need to have it in,” Hongjoong glared at the boy, β€œI promise this won’t take long.”

β€œFine,” Wooyoung agreed, slowly putting his earpiece into his ear. β€œCan you hear me, Ghost?”

β€œLoud and clear,” Yeosang said. β€œYou’re clear for the mission.”

Hongjoong got out of the truck and made his way to the entrance of the club. He walked over to the door man and handed him his ID, which was scanned before being returned. Hongjoong walked into the club, scanning the surroundings looking for his target.Β

β€œI don’t see her anywhere, Ghost,” Hongjoong announced.

β€œHold on, I’m trying to crack their security,” Yeosang said busily typing away on his laptop.Β  β€œOk, I’m in. Let me see if I can spot her.”

Hongjoong walked through the crowd of people who were busy drinking and dancing their worries away. The club smelled of a combination of sweat, alcohol, and an overwhelming combination of body sprays and colognes, which made him feel right at home. This is the atmosphere that Hongjoong was most comfortable in, where he originally made a name for himself.Β

β€œShe’s at the bar,” Yeosang announced, β€œfour seats from the left.”

β€œCopy,” Hongjoong nodded, now headed in the direction of the bar. He sat in the empty seat next to Y/N who was oblivious that anyone sat there.Β

Y/N ordered a drink and when the bartender brought the new glass over and sat it down, Hongjoong leaned forward and said, β€œthat one is on me.”

Y/N turned and smiled at Hongjoong, β€œthank you.” She picked the drink up and took a long sip which made the glass half empty. β€œDo I know you?”

β€œNot yet,” Hongjoong winked. β€œOn a scale from one to ten, you’re a nine and I’m the one you need.”

Y/N laughed, almost spitting out the liquid she was getting ready to swallow. β€œDoes that usually work?” she asked.

β€œI mean you did seem to move a little closer to me, so I’m assuming it’s working,” Hongjoong smiled.

β€œI adjusted to avoid spitting out my drink,” Y/N explained with a smile.

β€œWell it’s refreshing to find a girl that prefers swallowing,” Hongjoong continued.

β€œOh my god, you’re too much,” Y/N laughed playfully, hitting Hongjoong’s arm. β€œWhat’s your name?”

β€œYou’re a fucking loser,” Yeosang whispered into Hongjoong’s ear making him smirk.

β€œI’m Justin and you are?” Hongjoong lied placing his hand out to shake Y/N’s.

She placed her hand inside of his and said, β€œIt’s a pleasure to meet you, Justin. I’m Y/N.”

β€œOh the pleasure is all mine, I’m sure,” Hongjoong brought Y/N’s hand up to his mouth and gently kissed the top of her hand.

Hongjoong continued to talk to Y/N, buying her drink after drink while he nursed his one drink, to avoid any chance of getting intoxicated.

β€œI think I should probably get home now,” Y/N slurred, fully feeling the effects of the multiple alcoholic drinks that she consumed.

β€œCan I give you a ride home?” Hongjoong offered.

Y/N raised an eyebrow while looking at Hongjoong, β€œwhy would you want to give me a ride?” she asked curiously.

β€œYou seem a little intoxicated and I would feel awful if something bad happened to you since I’m the one that bought all your drinks tonight,” Hongjoong explained. β€œIt’s the least I could do.”

Y/N contemplated the offer before nodding with a smile, β€œsure I guess it would be ok if you take me home.”

β€œGreat,” Hongjoong smiled, standing up. He put his arm out for Y/N, who gently intertwined her arm with his.Β

Outside the club Hongjoong led Y/N down an alley and opened the passenger’s side door of the truck for her to enter. After shutting the door, he got inside of the driver’s side.Β  He turned the car on and turned the music up and began to drive. Y/N looked out the window quietly singing along to the radio.

Wooyoung slowly sat up from the back seat, unbeknownst to Y/N, holding a cloth tightly over her nose and mouth until he felt her body go limp.

Y/N slowly opened her eyes, her head was throbbing and everything felt dizzy. She tried to move her hand but realized she was restrained. Everything in the room was pitch black so she wasn’t able to gather her bearings either.

β€œAre you ready to have some fun?” a man’s voice sounded from behind her.
