Here Is My Version Of The Green Knight From Arthurian Legend!

Melothardus Burtelakhi Haludozert is the famous yet scornful, distant, and nomadic Verdurous Knight and protector of the natural world, understanding secrets and rhythms of the earth. With a mysterious past and motivations, he’s known for being an enigma, making him intriguing and unpredictable. He’s an erotically seductive womaniser with a deep hatred for cowardice, laziness, cheating, immaturity, misogyny, and those who tarnish chivalry and justice. There is a hint of fearsome mysticism that surrounds him, and he strictly adheres to the principles of chivalry such as loyalty and courtesy. Despite his noble stature, he remains humble and unassuming as he eschews glory and recognition, but can come across as narcissistic and stubborn at times. His presence commands respect and exudes a natural air of authority, while giving him confidence to remain resolute and steadfast in the face of adversity. With a calm and composed demeanour, he’s fearless in the face of danger, willing to take risks and face them head-on. He’s the sagacious paragon of virtue, embodying honour, integrity, morality, and the willingness to offer advice and guidance. Due to being ever watchful and alert, he’s always prepared to defend the innocent and vanquish evil. When he’s deadly serious and wrathful, he’s prone to seeking revenge against people who wronged him and those he cares about. As a result of a devastating tragedy that left Melothardus with emotional scars, he’s vulnerable to melancholy and doubtful introspection.

Melothardus is an imposing 13’ 8’ (416.56 cm) mesomorph with an inverted triangle figure, perfectly rigid muscles, semi-broad shoulders, prominent thighs, and a well-endowed penis. He has a rugged and weathered pallid complexion and a coiled birthmark of a pinkish hue above his left eyebrow. Green gold freckles adorn his face, and his sunburst nutmeg-marigold eyes pierce through the darkness like a lantern in the forest. His flowing hair that gracefully drapes over his shoulders and mid-neck, puffy goatee are a silver-blue with delicate curls and streaks of faint coppery red. His sparkling plate armour with watermelon tourmaline hues is made from the spiritual essence of nature with decorations of copper rose vines, lavender blossoms, and dried elderberries. In the centre of his cuirass with bronze tassets is a heraldic golden dragon with ivory boar tusks and ruby eyes holding three moss agate fox tails. His helmet looks like the face of a bronze man peering out of dense nettle foliage with brownish-black spots. This helmet is adorned with a bell-shaped garland of scarlet hawthorn flowers, hanging white wisteria blossoms, oak leaves, and copper rose thorny vines. He dons a green gold cape with bronze edges and copper rose stars, a mid-back hooded cloak of red deer fur with its tail still intact, a golden thistle brooch, and a bough of holly tied to a thick strand of rope as a necklace. He wields a double-blade battle-axe twice his height with a head of silver-red metal, a thorny golden chain that acts as a shoulder strap, and a shaft in the hue of a forest canopy. He has a blood-drenched longsword forged from the spiritual essence of the bleeding oak and weeping maple. His battle-axe can cause natural disasters once it slams to the ground, while his longsword shimmers like the earth after a spring shower in the presence of corrupted lands. Melothardus is in possession of a yew bow with a woven boar sinew as a bowstring and gold-tipped arrows inside a quiver made from a hollowed-out log.

He possesses keen sight, smell, and hearing, and can easily blend into natural environments by manipulating the wavelengths of sound, colour, and light. He can transform into verdant trees, a patch of sweet-smelling wildflowers that can induce fertile pregnancies, and animals basked in a subtle yet shimmering green hue. When his eyes glow fiercely, his mind, instincts, and raw strength become more akin to that of a warmongering, ferocious, and arrogant predator. His abnormal strength allows him to wield his massive battle-axe with ease, uproot trees, move the largest stones, overpower skilled warriors with a single blow, and withstand powerful attacks without flinching. Melothardus is a master of swords, axes, battling, tactical strategies, and exorcism that can communicate with animals and sense changes in nature's equilibrium. He’s impervious to physical death as mortal weapons have little effect on him because blades and arrows pass straight through him like mist and the most grievous of wounds inflicted upon him heal instantly.

He has a meta-teleportation and connection to the celestial and terrestrial aspects of the earth, granting him control over nature, land fertility, the four seasons, plants, animals, and elemental forces. His accuracy, strength, sight, smell, and hearing are significantly enhanced during solstices and equinoxes. He’s highly resistant to attacks based on fire, water, earth, and air elements, but can easily be damaged by the malevolent use of quintessence. He can create shields and barriers of thorny vines, crystalline rock, and blue holy fire to deflect projectiles. He often has brief glimpses of the future that predict enemy attacks and potential life-threatening events. He’s capable of creating deceptive visions and auditory hallucinations, which makes it difficult for his opponents to discern reality. He possesses nearly transcendent wisdom and insight into the human psyche, the secrets of life, multiversal balance, and nature. He has the inhuman charisma to inspire and lead others, and a strange diplomacy that allows him to negotiate and mediate conflicts with ease.

FAMILY:

Kaloghrentius Äglovetrud L’Eyschatonur (adoptive younger brother)

Dinbezramus (ex-lover)

Pelmazodius Malwegrontus-Eyschalobur Culwodrena (son)

Gwalchemozus Vorteghuna (adoptive niece)

Gwalchevodus D’Balenomi (adoptive great-niece)

ALIASES/NICKNAMES:

Verdurous Knight

FUN FACTS/EXTRA INFORMATION:

As an Æylphitus, the different parts of his name have special meanings: Melothardus means “melodious praise or chanting song”, Burtelakhi means “to be contentious, bright lake or churl”, and Haludozert means “high wasteland or disinherited hermitage”.

He was born in a long strand of land called Lyonesse that was swallowed by the Atlantic ocean in a single night during his older teen years. Lyonesse was a kingdom housing people in fair, quaint towns, 140 churches, and a castle-like cathedral, having its citizens work in fertile, low-lying plains. As it was being destroyed, he managed to escape the storm and a subsequent wave with Kaloghrentius and an orphaned Dustezona while riding a gleaming white horse named Trevakloin. After that unfortunate disaster, he looked after Dustezona, giving him minimal warmth and a decent shelter. He taught him how to fend for himself in the wilderness and trained him into a fearsome archer and knight.

The legends surrounding him frame him as a judge and tester of knights

He once challenged Arthegonus’ court to a game, offering his axe to anyone who can behead him with the condition that he gets to return the blow a year later. Everyone chickened out, but his adoptive niece took up the challenge, but failed to behead him. Out of respect for her bravery and putting up a good fight, he gifted her an axe made from his flesh and the spiritual essence of nature.

He trained Dustezona, Gwalchemozus, and Pelmazodius to become powerful and feared knights.

Most of his memories are literally shrouded in mist, which slowly unravels as they continue on their journey to protect the natural world.

His presence has a calming effect on nature, causing plants to bloom and animals to flock to his side in times of need.

He has a weakness for honey cakes and complicated riddles

Here Is My Version Of Heimdall From Norse Mythology!

Heimodazul is a kind-hearted yet stubborn angel who refuses to accept "no" as an answer and possesses a profound understanding of the ancient lore and secrets of the Cyphoraviktus Paradox. He’s a vigilant and loyal guardian, always watchful and alert with a keen sense of awareness and a sharp eye for detail. He’s deeply committed to his duties as the guardian of Bifrost, the entrance to Asgard, and his personal relationships with friends, family, and Fretzuwoja. He’s discerning, highly perceptive, and able to judge character, often sensing the intentions and motivations of those who approach him.

He prides himself as an independent figure, content to stand watch alone for long periods of time, trusting his own judgement. Adding to his enigmatic presence, his mysterious nature and piercing gaze can make him seem intimidating and unapproachable to some. Due to being a highly dedicated person, he’s willing to make sacrifices to protect Asgard, The Pantheon, and those he deeply cares about. Heimodazul has a strong instinct to defend and shield those under his care, and a quiet confidence and inner strength that inspires respect and awe from others. He’s not one to speak unnecessarily, preferring to carefully observe and listen before acting and/or speaking.

Heimodazul is approximately 8 ft (243.84 cm) and he has the body type of a trapezoidal mesomorph with a lean build, a chiselled musculature, and broad shoulders. He has ashen skin, four wings of a lilac-breasted roller, sea purple freckles on his face, neck, and hands, and two scars: one above his right eyebrow is shaped like a frosty crescent and gruesome claw marks on both shoulders. His knee-reaching dark ash blonde hair, with voluminous waves, is braided into two four plaits that are adorned with gold threads, and his gilded teeth gleam beneath the light. He has celestial blue eyes with English violet pupils, which shine brightly like the stars in a clear night sky. In the centre of his square chest, he possesses a tattoo of a horn-shaped rainbow piercing through the ocean waves with the runes, ᛗ (mannaz) and ᛉ (algiz), underneath it.

He dons a dragging cloak of tattered Arctic fox fur with black wool lining and stains of dirt, grime, and dried blood. This cloak is clasped at the shoulder with a golden brooch shaped like a curving Taxus baccata branch with ruddy berries. His tunic, once a shimmering metallic purple with a golden undertone, is now stained and dishevelled. Smudged dirt, blood splatters, and prominent sweat stains beneath his armpits have dulled the fine linen fabric, a testament to his recent trials and tribulations. The sleeves of his tunic are long and fitted with a slight bell shaped at the wrist, secured with a gilded leather band.

His breeches, made of navy blue leather blended with iridescent green, red, and purple, are similarly stained and torn with dried blood, dirt, and grime. They’re tucked into knee-high boots made of bluish-bronze leather, trimmed with grey wolf fur, and scuffed and scratched from many battles. He wears a wide belt of shining rainbow-hued leather with embroidered runes of bronze and a dirty bone buckle shaped like a curled ram’s horn. Heimodazul dons a conical helmet of bronze with a nasal and neck guard, a browband, a bluish-silver mail coif, and a built-in gilded visor, shaped like a pair of watchful eyes.

He has Gjallarhorn, a curved horn gleaming ivory with a mouthpiece shaped like a fierce dragon's head that has eight runes encircling its base in the following order: ᚺ (hagalaz), ᚾ (nauthiz), ᛁ (isaz), ᛃ (jera), ᛇ (eihwaz), ᛈ (pertho), ᛉ (algiz), and ᛊ (sowilo). Its shriek is piercing enough to resonate across all universes, shatter mountains, curdle blood, and summon the presence of deities in times of dire need. He wields a halberd with a shaft of sturdy ash wood and a hook curved like a raven’s beak. It also has a ferrule engraved with a Jellinge Style ouroboros and a pommel shaped like a watchful eye. He carries around a kite shield of yew wood that features a tungsten rim and a sitting bronze eagle with sky blue eyes surrounded by nine interlocking gold rings.

He’s omnipresent with the keenest sight and hearing amongst the members of The Pantheon, easily spotting a target from a hundred to a thousand leagues away. Additionally, his hearing is freakishly acute, allowing him to hear grass grow and wool sprout from sheep. He requires less sleep than a songbird, has night vision, and can predict the future of disputes, bloody battles, and the physical movements of people. He’s an accomplished fighter that can manipulate rainbows, the beneficent uses of fire, the fury of the elements, and the light from the sun and moon. He’s fully aware of the ongoings of the Cyphoraviktus Paradox, can transform into aquatic creatures, and is able to shrug off blows that would be fatal to mortals and continue fighting without pause. He can lift and wield massive objects, such as large trees, and deliver crushing blows that can shatter an entire country and create massive shockwaves.

The political and societal beliefs and values of the Awukhoziel tribes

Admuszroktebi

The Admuszroktebi makes decisions through building consensus between the leaders’ guidance and the input of the community. Moreover, chieftains and chieftainesses are expected to be transparent in their decision-making processes and actions. They’re expected to be wise, just, and compassionate, and can be replaced if they become tyrannical or unable to perform their duties. In order to decrease the likelihood of tyranny, they have a system of checks and balances to ensure their government is just. Members are encouraged to participate in community service and volunteer work, while prioritising the prosperity of everyone. The community is responsible for the well-being of its members, especially the elderly, women, children, and those in need.

Elders are highly revered for their wisdom, experience, and knowledge, and men and women are given equal roles and responsibilities. The tribe values the wisdom and experience of their leaders and the elderly, while understanding the importance of new perspectives and fresh ideas. The tribe is welcoming to outsiders, especially those who want to share their values and are willing to contribute to the community. Everyone in the tribe has the freedom to be autonomous and pursue their passions and interests, as long as they do not harm others. The tribe deeply respects and honours the natural world as they recognise the interconnectedness of all living things. They believe in a deepening spiritual connection to the land, animals, and ancestors, which is reflected through their elaborate festivals and rituals.

They value creativity, self-expression, and artistic pursuits, and have a strong emphasis on mutual support and cooperation. They place a strong emphasis on storytelling, oral tradition, and preserving their cultural heritage. They have a complex cosmology with a belief in multiple deities and spirits that inhabit the land, animals, and spiritual essence of humanoid lifeforms. They believe in the importance of rituals, ceremonies, and offerings to maintain balance and harmony with nature and higher powers. They have a strong belief in the afterlife, believing that there is an ancestral realm where the spirits of the dead reside.

Hubaszrokji

The Hubaszrokji have a system of checks and balances to ensure that kings, high-ranking priestesses and hierophants, and religious judges don’t have too much power. Leaders and people of authority are expected to be fair, just, and compassionate, while having a strong focus on the greater good. The needs of the community are prioritised over individual needs, while ensuring that citizens fulfill their contributions through public service, volunteering, and work. All members of the tribe are expected to show respect and deference to all of the authority figures that make up their government. Education is highly valued, especially literacy and skill-building, as tribal members are encouraged to pursue intellectual enlightenment and wisdom. There are prominent gender roles in society with men taking on leadership and guardianship positions and women partaking in family, community, and the maintenance of religiosity and art.

Family and community are highly valued as tribal members are expected to have a strong sense of loyalty and responsibility to one another. They place a strong emphasis on representation and accountability with regular town hall meetings and heralds having the responsibility to share important news. They have a strong sense of diplomacy and cooperation with neighbouring tribes, as well as hospitality and a welcoming attitude towards strangers and travellers. They respect elders for the maintenance of preserving cultural heritage and history, and everyone has a strong work ethic, focused on contributing to the community and earning one's keep. Hard work, industry, fairness, and equality are highly respected as they believe they’re major components to true justice. They have a strict religious code with a strong emphasis on respect for the titans and adherence to morally righteous policies in order to avoid harsh punishments. Due to their palpable respect and care for the natural world, they work to protect and preserve the land and its resources.

Prijakhozlumne

The Prijakhozlumne believe that their destiny is to expand their territory and spread their influence, placing a strong emphasis on the superiority of their culture and people. They believe in the great significance of a strong, centralised government with strict control over citizens as to prevent rebellion and misuse of political power. The empress, princesses, and noblewomen are seen as benevolent rulers who guide and protect their subjects with the aid of an all-male military dictatorship. The empress, princesses, noblewomen, and the hierophant hold absolute power and control over the tribe's resources, wealth, fundamental rights and freedoms, and religiosity. They’re isolationist, strongly believing in the maintenance of their independence and separation from other tribes. They have a strong emphasis on military strength and conquest as a means of expanding their territory and influence, which is strengthened by their all-male military dictatorship.

As dissent and opposition are not tolerated, punishment is swift and severe for those who challenge the authority of the empress, princesses, noblewomen, the hierophant, and the high commander of the all-male military dictatorship. They possess strict gender roles with men being viewed as inferior and suited only for slavery and warfare, while women are seen as superior and destined for leadership and wisdom. Strict division between gender-based classes are present as well with the empress, princesses, and noblewomen at the top and male slaves at the bottom. They have a strong emphasis on matriarchal lines with property and wealth passing through the female generations to keep their lineage robust. They highly value bloodlines and lineage that are purebred, viewing individuals of mixed blood as inferior and unworthy of feminine grace and divine strength. They strictly value personal and family honour as shame and dishonour are a result of irreversible failure and civil disobedience.

Great importance is placed on education for women and more respected men, particularly in the fields of magic, record-keeping, tactical knowledge, and jurisprudence. They have a belief in the mystical and spiritual significance of the Hirczalotepus Tejasozuri and how they ensure the magical knowledge and combative courage of the tribe’s political power and societal influence. Prestige, courage, and bloodlust are necessary to ensure the victory of battles and conquests, while art and jewellery is reliant on beauty, craftsmanship, and a profound understanding of aesthetics and creative expression.

Glekavominus

The Glekavominus prioritise patriarchy as men hold positions of political and militant power over women who are expected to look after the family and basic community interests. Leadership positions in their oligarchic ergatocracy and military are earned through merit and achievement rather than birthright and wealth. Men are expected by society to be strong and courageous, while women are supposed to be modest and submissive. They have a palpable sense of national identity, prioritising the interests of their own people above those from other tribes. The tribe strongly values order and discipline, placing great significance on the obedience of rules and respecting authority. All tribal members highly value military strategy and strength as warriors hold esteemed positions in society.

They encourage intellectual discourse and philosophical debates, reflecting their appreciation for knowledge, wisdom, and divine enlightenment. Education is of high priority in society, particularly in the learning and thorough understanding of mathematics, astronomy, theology, tactical knowledge, and moral philosophy. Physical fitness and agility are highly valued, which is evident in their emphasis on gymnastics and gladiatorial battles. Instead of burying the deceased, they use pyre funerals as it’s their way of honouring the dead and granting them easier access into the afterlife. Family ties and lineage are valued with inheritance and legacy playing important roles in the determination of their societal status. Personal honour and reputation are highly valued as individuals are expected to defend themselves at all costs, especially during instances where their image might be ruined.

Aymuszonites

Sibutozera

The Sibutozera believe that the position of chieftain/chieftainess is passed down through generations with the eldest child inheriting the role. They have a council of respected elders that advise the chieftain/chieftainess on important decisions and each clan has a representative. They possess a legal system that has punishments fitting the crime and the encouragement of rehabilitation. As family and community ties are extremely strong, tribal members often put the needs of the tribe above their own. They use the strengths of magic and technology to create advanced innovations, and encourage artistic and cultural expression through storytelling, festive dances, and craftsmanship.

Warriors are highly respected and honoured as their bravery and skill in battle is celebrated in stories and songs. Guests are treated with great respect and generosity as the tribe adheres to a strict code of hospitality and guest right. Everyone is expected to contribute to the tribe's well-being through community service, and children are taught valuable skills and trades from a young age as apprenticeships provide hands-on training. They believe in living in harmony with nature, having sustainable practices and environmental stewardship deeply ingrained in their culture. They believe in a complex spiritual system, putting emphasis on protection magic and the connection between the living and the dead. They value physical strength, courage, loyalty, honour in battle, the ability to withstand harsh conditions, resilience, creative problem-solving, and resourcefulness.
