one thing i realized about this one line in AoCF is that there's like 3 different translations of it: One in the textbox, one in the captions, and one in her profile that refers to this quote.

there's a few ways to interpret these lines, but it mainly comes down to if you think if Koishi is just having fun with what she's given, or if her idea of a "fun battle" can be a little dishonorable.

For context, she and Marisa are testing out Perfect Possession for the first time, so it can be argued that they're just interested in testing the ability. Koishi in the past has been very eager to use new abilities and succeed with them, so even the meaner quotes can be argued from a place of innocence. "The plan" quote even implies that maybe they were supposed to do a two-on-one fight to test how much of an advantage Perfect Possession gives you. Control group kinda thing.

But on the other hand, she expresses disappointment in all of these quotes. Koishi gives much less apprehension about the idea of 2v1'ing someone than Marisa, who calls it "kinda cheating".

Personally, I do think Koishi is having innocent fun, but in the way a prankster would have fun. Pranking someone usually involves fun at someone else's expense, but it's not meant to be super malicious. Ichirin (the girl Marisa issued this challenge to) accepted to fight in the first place, so it's not like they sprung this on someone unwilling to fight.

even though ULiL is probably the peak of koishi designs (imo), i kinda wish they kept her curly hair. like wavy hair still fits him perfectly fine, but im biased as a curly hair-haver myself.
