im mildly embarrassed to put this out out but also looking at this image makes me really happy!!!!! and i hope somebody out there finds it mildly cool atleast

here's a touhou AU where koishi re-opens their third-eye (featuring some ms paint)

2nd part of the image down here because i accidentally fucked up graphic design and if i make a bio for satori it'll be more organized because then i'll be able to say "koishis page was intentionally fucked up and scattered to represent her as a person." cinema.

wip but im trying to draw a short little comic of re!koishi, here's his head smiling at you

actually i might have to draw kogasa at some point in this, so i should probably come up with a Slightly Altered Design for her. infact i should probably alter re!koishi's dress a little more too while im there... damn this making art stuff's kinda hard

koishi headcanoning / theorizing time / talking about whatever the heck once again:

i think before koishi closed their eye, their "battle theme" was a lot more like Last Remote than it was like Hartmann's Youkai Girl.

Last Remote is an incredibly emotional and bittersweet song. it's representative of all of the pain that koishi left behind, but also all of the beauty in life she abandoned. his relationship with his sister will never be the same again, and he's barely had any chances to make lasting connections with others since.

meanwhile, Hartmann's Youkai Girl quite literally references her current condition as an unconscious wanderer. it's got a lot of silly energy and it's comparatively happy to Last Remote, but there's just something... wrong about it. it's like a false paradise.

im not saying koishi isn't a silly girl at heart (it is still her unconscious self talking after all), but i do think a theoretical battle theme for koishi-with-her-third-eye-open would sound a lot more like a mix of these two songs. probably leaning towards Last Remote if they're still having a mental breakdown.

progress update:

ok so i finished drawing re!koishi for the first comic panel, but she looked too adorable for me to not make him my wallpaper

the thought bubble is supposed to hold all the desktop icons, but i got silly for the sake of this post and doodled inside it

i was supposed to make the 2nd comic panel, but i got sidetracked and made this re!satori draft (re-using koishi as a base cause laziness)

maybe i'll change the colors, maybe she'll get some random design additions like re!koishi later... but for now her third eye is way bigger and she's a little wider than koishi

since im already talking about her here's some information i got in my head:

re!satori's mind is MUCH stronger than canon satori, like she could give a speech in front of 500 people and only suffer a mild headache. her body is even weaker and frailer though. thats the price of having a big brain.

re!satori and re!koishi's relationship was a bit rockier compared to what i imagine their canon versions had. so when re!koishi originally closed her eye... re!satori kinda blamed that on herself and started suffering from a thing called 𝓲𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓮 𝓰𝓾𝓲𝓵𝓽. she would never seriously rate herself an 11 out of 10 in this universe.

she's also a bit more authoritative, to the point where she's kinda recognized as the queen of former hell. people rarely ever refer to her that way (cause they're still haters) but she's also the most capable of leading everyone so they usually end up listening to her anyways.

autistic and has ocd

she's overall still very kind, but she has a lot of controlling and paranoid tendencies that make her butt heads with people- even outside of reading their minds!

actually i dont think i did a post where i describe their major differences from canon koishi yet (or atleast not in a way i was happy with like i was with the re!satori one). so maybe that'll be next
