Still thinking about that post I've seen go around more than once now, the, "If a character is dead at the end of a story, were they already dead when the story started?" and all I have to say in answer is:

This is a story, it begins with your birth. Are you already dead?

Oh look, it's the thing I wrote for @erisenyo's massive AtLA canon rewrite! (a Zukka rewrite which spans all 3 seasons and starts with Zuko and Sokka accidentally getting to know each other in Season 1.) Now that I have followers who aren't erisenyo on here, I can say that if you like AtLA and haven't read her series you should give it a shot!
