I have an idea, possibly a slightly crazy idea, but let’s see.

I would like to set up an event for writing rarepairs, but authors would sign up knowing the rarepair they get is random, and they would get a random prompt.

All the pairs would be pulled from submitted pairings. Authors (maybe artists?) could set preferences, maybe a rarepair with at least one favorite character, or say that they don’t want to write a certain trope or type. The idea is to write something out of your comfort zone as a challenge, for a short ficlet around 500 words.
