you could hear music playing from somewhere in your apartment.

following the sound of it, you walked into the kitchen to find your boyfriend kun moving around it. his hands full of chopped vegetables before he tossed them inside the pot on the stove.

“baby, i’m really hungry,” the pout adorning your face made his heart flutter.

“lunch is almost ready, you have to wait a couple more minutes.” he gave you a small smile, turning back around to stir the soup he was cooking for the both of you, quietly humming along with the song that was playing through his phone.

“but i wanna spend time with you,” your voice came out in a whine, “you’re always working.” your words made his expression soften. kun turned his head to the side to face you, eyes locking with yours.

sighing, he completely turned around until his body was facing yours. he opened his arms wide for you to come closer. with a squeak of happiness, you launched yourself into him, your arms going around his neck. 

with your face buried in his chest, enveloped by the warmth of your boyfriend, you felt him slowly start to move, swaying your bodies to the rhythm of the music.

“what are you doing?” you giggled.

“what does it look like?” he smiled down at you, starring into your eyes without stopping his movements.

he cherished those little moments with you. you were his endless source of happiness and he wanted to stay with you like this forever.

neither of you knew how much time had passed, the soup cooking in the stove long forgotten by the both of you. that was until…

“hey, what’s that smell?” your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. it smelt like something was burning…

“oh no.”

✨OPEN CURTAINS PART II UPDATE 2.0✨

hi again lol! so, i’m not even halfway done with part ii and it is already around 3 k words long. i told you it was gonna be long.

i’m gonna be honest with you guys, i’m struggling a lot. i feel like it’s so hard to describe things the way i want them to be and it frustrates me so frkng much it makes me wanna cry –i’m fine tho, just a little bit stressed bc of my uni applications–. i also don’t feel like it’s currently as good as it could be, so i don’t want to rush things and ruin it.

BUT, i’m obviously still gonna do it bc i like the whole plot a lot and you guys really seemed to like it too, and it’s actually really fun writing it.

i really hope i get to finish it by sunday so i can post it on monday –bc after finishing writing it i still need to re-read it a couple of times to correct as much errors as i can find–. i can’t promise anything tho, but i’ll try my best.

if i do finish it by then, i’ll probably post it around 5-6 pm EST. if you wanna read it as soon as it’s out, be sure to check my nct masterlist around that time and/or lmk through my messages if you want me to add you to my taglist –plz remember not to ask anonymously–.

i had a couple of ideas? mainly for the renjun one, but idk how would you guys like the story to go like. if you wanna hear more about it you can ask again and i’ll gladly let you know –just in case you don’t want any kind of spoilers–! now that i think about it, it could make a poll or smth. for the jaemin one i have no clue how to continue it, so if you have any ideas, lmk!
