you could hear music playing from somewhere in your apartment.

following the sound of it, you walked into the kitchen to find your boyfriend kun moving around it. his hands full of chopped vegetables before he tossed them inside the pot on the stove.

“baby, i’m really hungry,” the pout adorning your face made his heart flutter.

“lunch is almost ready, you have to wait a couple more minutes.” he gave you a small smile, turning back around to stir the soup he was cooking for the both of you, quietly humming along with the song that was playing through his phone.

“but i wanna spend time with you,” your voice came out in a whine, “you’re always working.” your words made his expression soften. kun turned his head to the side to face you, eyes locking with yours.

sighing, he completely turned around until his body was facing yours. he opened his arms wide for you to come closer. with a squeak of happiness, you launched yourself into him, your arms going around his neck. 

with your face buried in his chest, enveloped by the warmth of your boyfriend, you felt him slowly start to move, swaying your bodies to the rhythm of the music.

“what are you doing?” you giggled.

“what does it look like?” he smiled down at you, starring into your eyes without stopping his movements.

he cherished those little moments with you. you were his endless source of happiness and he wanted to stay with you like this forever.

neither of you knew how much time had passed, the soup cooking in the stove long forgotten by the both of you. that was until…

“hey, what’s that smell?” your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. it smelt like something was burning…

“oh no.”

✨OPEN CURTAINS PART II UPDATE✨

hii guys! so i’m currently writing a part ii for the renjun scenario/one shot, open curtains.

i just wanted to let anyone who’s waiting for it –cause i’ve received some questions about it– know that it’s going to be long, as in long, yk? like actually really frkng long. i’ve got planned like 3 smut scenes for it and i still haven’t done either the beginning nor the ending, so it’s gonna take a while for me to finish it AND review it before i finally post it.

i’ll let you guys know through my nct masterlist how’s it going –look for the status part–, so don’t forget to check it from time to time.
