Ya Allah ﷻ, don't make me attached to any pleasures of this ephemeral world. Ameen Sum Ameen.

Yahya ibn Mu‘ādh رحمه الله said:

‎“O son of Ādam, your religion will continue to be torn apart, ‎as long as your heart is attached to the pleasures of this world.”

‎[Hilyat-ul-Awliyā’a, 10/52]

One of the greatest virtues of praying Taraweeh in the mosque, behind the Imam.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

"Whoever prays Qiyam with the Imam until he finishes, Allah (SWT) will record for him the Qiyam of a (whole) night."

—Sunan an-Nasa'i 1605

SubhanAllah! Indeed, Allāh ﷻ is THE MERCIFUL.

Narrated `Aisha رضي الله عنها:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."

—Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 32, Hadith 4

اللهم لا تجعل رمضان يمر كالريح. قُدِّر لنا التطهير، غيّرنا للأفضل، اغفر لنا ذنوبنا، وقربنا إليك

𝘠𝘢 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘢𝘩, 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘙𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘥. 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘶𝘴, 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘠𝘰𝘶.

We all as Muslims try our best to pray the five obligatory Salahs! Now as important that is, we must strive to attain a deeper connection with Allāh ﷻ in our prayers by knowing the meaning of our utterances. So here is the translation of the DUA which we begin our prayer with.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

“Glorious You are O Allah, and with Your praise, and blessed is Your Name, and exalted is Your majesty, and none has the right to be worshipped but You.”

Let's be mindful of our duas, recitation in our prayers. In Sha Allah, Allāh ﷻ will be pleased with our efforts.

Nothing makes me happier than listening to my cats' breath while they're asleep. I've always wondered what it's like to be lulled to dreamland by listening to someone's breath, and my cats right here, did not disappoint. Hitting all the right spots, bringing me joy like nothing. Why ASMR when I've got them? Calming my nerves and making my heart dance with joy. These little fluffballs just got to exist and I'm more than willing to sacrifice my entire life for them. They're my home, my refuge, my sanctuary. Thank you so much Allāh ﷻ for blessing me with such cute creatures.
