Unpopular opinion on Papyrus as a character? Or how he is portrayed by the fandom?

For an unpopular opinion on Papyrus’ characterization, I kind of want to see him having more emotions besides being cheerful? I mean we do see him get mad at Sans, and feel sad when talking to us in the King Papyrus neutral end. But I would love to see what he’s like when he’s really angry, and not just annoyed at his brother’s jokes. We’ve seen what Undyne and Sans are like when they’re furious, and it’s terrifying. I would love to see Papyrus being terrifying as well.

For his portrayal by the fandom, I want to see more protective Papyrus. The fandom really likes protective Sans, and some people also portray other characters as being protective over him. I’d love to see him being overprotective over Sans for a change in fancomics and fanfics, getting furious if anyone so much dared to threaten Sans. And also him being protective over Undyne, and even Frisk.

I feel like people forget the only reason everyone shows up in true pacifist is because Papyrus called them. Like ya, Flowey told him to get ‘em but Papyrus is the one who convinced everyone. And not just the main group, the ENTIRE underground. Say what you will about him, but you can’t deny that he knows how to talk to people and get them to do stuff

he knows how to deal with any type of people, even if he's lonely. that's how he's so smart socially (he's also has more types of smartness)

(also , i have a deep belief and trust, that he AND flowey planned that together, and papyrus knew flowey will "backstab" him , but what flowey didn't know , he'll also have a happy ending )
