What I'm doing

So I've been writing a fuckton in my spare time, just on my own, and am honestly really enjoying it and have a lot of fun ideas flowing again that I've been going wild with. Once it's ready and I have more stuff written I am gonna launch a side-blog just for my current main writing project, Metacosmium.

Basically it's a kitchen sink/creative playground kind of project for me. Genre-wise it falls into the realm of weird psychedelic space sci-fantasy with some cosmic horror elements. Metacosmium itself encompasses an area of the multiverse, with a main universe and some connected realms existing at its peripherals. I get really experimental with it and it'll have a mixture of content, from prose to articles documenting events that have taken place within the universe, or some of the mysterious beings that roam it (if I feel daring again later, possibly comics).

What's in line currently for that blog:

Vetrivolent's journal - a personal diary written from the perspective of Vetrivolent Voronoi, a lonely mutant with no social skills who lives on Infinitas, an anomalous object that most mistake for a planet. The journal documents the shifts that occur in their body and mind as they spend time here and the main themes are what loneliness and isolation can do to a person, but ALSO, how awesome even the weirdest parts of nature can be if we take the time to understand and respect it. It's heavily focused on existential themes without actively trying to make you feel too bad about anything and takes on an experimental writing style.

Mylis declassified - Mylis is a character who's a prolific figure in the Virent Region of the universe (i.e. the most inhabited zone), that collects information and sells it to those who need it (as long as their intentions are good). He puts a lot of his efforts towards public safety, and assisting any of the more morally principled mercenaries across the region with their jobs, strictly only if he agrees with their cause. If something happened, he probably knows about it- if it was reported to him, anyway. This information can be on anything. This means that there's going to be a lot of flexibility in this category, because some pieces will be profiles on enigmatic creatures and notorious individuals, articles on strange occurrences, interview transcriptions with those who have reported information to him, and maybe more. It's a flexible format.

There's gonna be more stuff, like short stories that may not be connected to these, but those two things are what I've primarily been working at, and I think these are good to start with.

It's where a vast majority of my current active OCs reside and I pour a ton of passion into it, so uh, if anyone's interested, keep an eye out and I'd be so grateful for all who check it out when I decide to publicly launch it...!

with genies and fairies and other wish granting entities everybody always wishes for like, wealth or more wishes or something clever or whatever.

y'know what I'd wish for?

whenever I have a mixed-component meal, like a heterogenous mixture, every bite contains the ideal ratio of components. perfect handful of trail mix, every time. the exact balance of chicken and pasta in every forkful of a chicken alfredo.

I think that would fix me.
