Hey so. I was unable to do something for Undertale’s seventh anniversary due to a pretty bad headache that’s been rocking me through the day, not getting enough sleep last night, and college being college. But!! Hopefully I’ll have a fic Im working on up in a couple of days to celebrate.

However, I do not want to leave anything unsaid for this special day because, dang it, Undertale means so much to me. It’s sappy, it’s cliche, but legit: this game got me through some serious rough patches and it is part of who I am!

It was my introduction to the LGBTQ+ community. It was what inspired me to start drawing. It was my asexual awakening. It helped me establish morals I still uphold today. It was ALSO my lesbian awakening (thanks Toriel and Undyne.) It helped establish and strengthen friendships I still have today. It got me through the pandemic.

So: thank you Undertale. And thank you Toby Fox for 7 great years ❤️
