Barry Steakfries original Age Of Zombies PSP sprite sheets (2010) (ripped from PPSSPP emulator)

i get that he's got a cigarette on him at all times, but why does Barry's talk sprite look absolutely baked? he looks like the G-Man aged down about 20 years, lol. i like the stupid little side-eye he has on his diagonal sprites and how spiky his hair looks on his back sprites. there's something charming about the rougher sprite art of the original and i really like that :)

i think the PSP version of Age Of Zombies has some of the best dialogue out of all the versions that were released. i mean, the very first thing Barry ever said was "Surprise, Professor Shit-for-brains!", and something about "shit" being the third word he's said is incredibly funny to me, especially since Barry never swears anymore. i kinda miss when he was a stupid parody of cheesy action heroes. he still kind of is, but i dunno, AOZ had something going for it that i don't see as much in the newer games he's in.

this entire frame from the Air Barrys short is so funny to me and i am going to list the reasons why in a nice little list:

the fact that Barry felt the need to roll literally not even a metre away towards his conveniently placed jetpack rather than just walk towards it

Barry looking like some sort of weird goblin creature reaching out to snatch a morsel of food away

Craig being very concerned as to what is happening to his dear boyfriend's knees and choosing to just hide from it all rather than be involved

all of this happened because Barry did not simply steal from the claw machine immediately and instead chose to feed into his 10c Powered Gambling Addiction™

the shorts are so silly i love them

everyone likes to make fun of Pepperman for looking like an apple, but i've never seen anyone call him a capsicum before...... i like to think calling a pepper a capsicum in the Pizza Tower universe is like calling someone an imbecile or something incredibly demeaning, and Barry has no idea because us people in Australia usually call bell peppers 'capsicums' :P
