In the midst of thunder, where chaos reigns, When the sky pours down its heavy rains, I find a quiet place within, A sanctuary where peace begins.

Winds may howl, and waves may rise, The storm may darken the brightest skies, Yet in my heart, a stillness grows, A calm the tempest never knows.

I see the trees bend, but never break, Their roots hold firm, for strength’s sake, And like those trees, I find my ground, In the eye of the storm, I am safe and sound.

It’s not the absence of strife I seek, But the strength to stand when times are bleak, To find a calm amidst the fray, And let my worries drift away.

For peace is not a distant shore, It’s in the heart, at the very core, Where love and hope reside, And in their presence, fears subside.

So, when the storm clouds gather near, I won’t retreat, I won’t hide in fear, I’ll face the tempest, stand my ground, In the heart of the storm, my peace is found.
