Day 18 finished ^^ I did the cringetober prompt "old art redraw," and choose a drawing I made in 2019. I mainly wanted to see if my backgrounds have gotten better at all.

Heres the old one for comparison ^^. I feel like my lineart was kinda better then but I'm also rushing due to inktober soo idk if it's really better or not. I know my hands are better lmao XD

Day 17 done ^^ I did the kawaiitober prompt "lolita clothing."

I used it to try changing my fairy oc's design a little. I also used it to try figuring out what her wings look like. I don't think its her final design yet, but I like the direction its going ^^.

I WAS gonna do the goretober prompt "hooks" but since I did a bigger drawing yesterday I decided to do the cringetober prompt "object head."

I ended doing a stereo because of this one pic I saw on Pinterest and made a sorta sporty kinda character out of it. It was fun to draw tbh and just relaxing compared to how much I did yesterday. My hands needed a break afterall XD

Day 15 ^^ I did cringetober's prompt "song lyrics" and ended up doing the song 'Ptolemaea' by Ethel Cain. I love her Preachers Daughter album ^^.

I decided to use this day as practice for drawing comic panels since I don't really know what to fully do comics yet, even though I draw so often. I also got to figure out what Peppin's hair looked like a year before the comic starts which was fun to draw.

Tbh my hands hurt a TON since I've been drawing since like 1pm or so, maybe 12? But it's totally worth it because it was really fun to draw and happy with how it turned out ^^

So today I did the OCtober prompt "Oc Au" and ended up using my bad ending version of Ashiteiru in which Peppin fully leans into her yandere tendencies and kidnaps Val, who becomes a willing participant because he's yandere for her too. Over time, she gets more extreme about it and spirals until eventually cannibalizing Val alive or at least until he dies of shock. Once he dies, she keeps him in a freezer in the butchery she works at (which is a front for yanderes to be connected to eachother) and continues eating him. Her whole point in doing it is so he will be with her forever, in her twisted sense.

Though of course this isn't gonna be the canonical ending, its just an idea that leans into the horror aspect of Ashiteiru rather than the romance side.

Day 13 done ^^ I did the cringetober prompt "creepypasta" because obviously I would.

I ended up drawing my version of Jeff the Killer because I've been writing like my own version of creepypasta and I'm actually on his character rn writing wise. In my version he sometimes wears contacts with black scleras because he is a lot more alternative style wise. That and he likes being off-putting. I've thought about posting but I haven't yet since I'm no where near finished. I'm actually Jeff is actually the 2nd character I've been working on. Toby was the first, he had like 12 pages worth of info. Though I think Jeff is probably gonna be a lot more since I have to rewrite his backstory unlike Toby where I just mainly added extra detail to it. If anyone wants me to though, I'll be happy to post some of what I've gotten down so far.

Oh yea, good news too! I passed my learners permit stuff so I'll be able to legally learn to drive soon ^^ I say learners permit but technically its not that because of my age. Its the same restrictions tho.

Day 12 done ^^ I did the goretober prompt "bruised" for today. I figured I could draw Lucy after getting her ass kicked.

Tbh I don't know how to draw bruises but I think I did I figured out how to make bruising look severe. The problem is I wasn't trying to make it THAT bad XD. I had to put white paint over one of her eyes and redraw it since my techniques for bloodstains and bruising can be messy and unpredictable sometimes. But I'm relieved it was fixable at least.

Day 11 done ^^ I did cringetober's prompt "yandere" today.

Honestly I feel like my drawing process is going faster since starting inktober. Like usually I'm very slow drawing wise but I've gone from it taking 4hrs each day to like 2 to 3hrs. Idk if its a skill thing or if I'm getting more confident in drawing but its a cool thing to notice either way.

Day 10 finished ^^ I did kawaiitober's prompt "harajuku" for today and just drew my oc Peppin since a lot of her style is reminiscent to the different harajuku styles.

Tho I mainly wanted to use it as an opportunity to see if I wanted to add bubble socks to her silhouette to make it more recognizable. I think I might since it majes her silhouette especially unique compared to the rest of the cast.

Day 9 done and definitely the worst of my inktober so far. So I did the cringetober prompt "crossover ship/rarepair" but I don't really ship tbh so I decided to shitpost basically. I don't draw animals and my hands are shaky from anxiety so it turned out like shit lmao.

I'm starting driving school today and holy fuck I'm so anxious for some reason. Wish me luck I need it XD

Day 8 all done! ^^ I did the cringetober prompt "tumblr sexyman" and drew the winter king since he's definitely been getting that treatment on here lmao.

I started watching Fionna and Cake yesterday and holy fuck its so good. I'm so excited to watch all of it. I went a little easy on myself here since tomorrow I start driving school finally. I'm extremely late to start.

Officially finished the first week of inktober! So far I'm learning inktober and perfectionism DOES NOT MIX. Like I kinda hate this drawing ngl but inktober just makes you kinda have to finish it either way.

So I did the kawaiitober prompt "room" and used it as an opportunity to figure put what maybe Lucy's room might be like. Lucy lives in a cabin deep in the forest. She basically murdered an elderly person, ate them, and started living in their home aftetwards. She keeps a lot of their old stuff too, like pictures, keepsakes, letters, etc. Definitely a fucked up person lmao. A lot of the furniture is old so its pretty scratched up.

Day 6 is done! ^^ I did the cringetober prompt "neko" today. Since my creepypasta oc Lucy has a knitted cat beanie I figured it'd work.

The cat beanie, claws as weapons, and the raccoon tail clip is meant to give her an animalistic look cause character design go brr.

Day 5 finished! ^^ so I did the kawaiitober prompt "cake" but I obviously put my own spin on it again. Mainly cause my oc Peppin is a butcher and uses it to kill anyone she deems a threat to her and Val's relationship.

I definitely messed up some perspective parts but perspectives hard anyways. Especially traditionally tbh. But I still like this drawing a lot either way! ^^

Finished day 4! ^^ Today I did another cringetober prompt which was "angel x demon." Though mine is more of a symbolic thing since its a fairy and a vampire. But yea, I had a really fun time drawing my two ocs for this. I've rarely drawn them tbh but inktober has been a suprisingly good excuse to draw them. I love these two so much. They're meant to be a tragic lovestory.

Finished with day 3! ^^ Today's prompt I took from Cringetober which is "unnecessarily complex fit." I used one of older ocs for it since she has a country lolita styled outfit. Its a lot lighter of a drawing compared to the previous 2 lmao.

Not gonna lie, I don't like how day two turned out for inktober but I need to get done for the competition. Today I did the prompt "flowers" from kawaiitober but with a goretober twist.

Basically, my creepypasta oc Lucy has either a near death experience or this is how she dies (I haven't decided yet) but she gets stabbed in a fight and starts (at least) bleeding out in a feild of flowers.

Also sorry for the blur, my hands are super shaky at the moment.

Doing Inktober this year for a competition at my college art club! I'm kinda combining different prompts list to make my own list but for yesterday I did goretober's "teeth" prompt.

I used my oc's Peppin and Val for this one. Hope you like ^^

I forgot I did this redesign of this really old creepypasta oc I had too. Idk if anyone would be interested to see the og design because it was atrocious. But I took a lot of inspo after rewatching marble hornets again.

Basically in the new design she went missing after a huge fire took place and got lost in her local forest. Lucy also got infected by Slender Sickness and became more violent and paranoid because of it. By the time a hiker managed to accidentally find her, she was far too hungry and feral to think straight. And so she attacked the person trying to help her and killed them. By the time she realized what she had done, it was too late. She had ate them out of desperation and wanted more. To Lucy, she isn't fit for society anymore after what she's done.

Now she lives in this old abandoned cabin deep in the woods and feasts on hikers. Lucy doesn't even know she's infected with Slender Sickness. She just knows something's out there to get her and that something isn't right about the woods. Its been years since she's gotten lost and the normal life she had before has only gotten fuzzier the longer she resides in the woods.

I just realized I haven't changed my age in years lmao

Made the final design I plan for Holly Frei. She will have other outfits in the story too but I’ll likely work on that later on. I was gonna make a bigger drawing with a description but the sketches weren’t working out so the description will be below!

Character Description:

Holly is Peppin’s roomate and best friend. She ran away from home at 17 and has been on her own ever since. After barely getting her G.E.D, she got a job at the local mom and pop diner. She makes less than Peppin and due to immaturity and not coping properly with her past, tends to make poor life choices.

Alright so I made two versions of the map: the uneditied version and a version that has the three different character’s handwriting on it. It’s mainly just to specify where they live and their workplaces. I should note, this won’t be the final map and I’ll likely make a more detailed version later on this is just meant to be a placeholder so I have reference to where important locations are.

This also won’t be the only town map and I’ll be working on the town that the second main half of the comic will be in later on. I will also likely make floor plans for the apartment buildings, Peppin’s/Holly’s apartment, Val’s Apartment, the diner, the butchery, and bar. However maps/floorplans will likely be made more sporadically. 

The next thing I plan to make is finished concept art for Holly, Peppin’s roomate and best friend.

Back from the dead to post again!

So it’s been like a year??? A lots happened since then, I’ve graduated highschool and I’m in college now as a psych major. Its really time cosuming but I really like college so far ^^. 

But anyways I redesigned Peppin like a couple months ago and I’ve been able to make enough time for drawing that I decided to post again! If you’ve seen my old version of her theres been a few changes but I think its for the better. I want to explain the changes and why I made them because I think talking about art process is interesting ^^.

I changed her from grey skin to her natural skin color because I wanted to distance her from her original purpose which was a fandom related oc to the yandere game: Your Boyfriend. She is of course part of my comic series I am still developing “Ashiteiru.” This is also why I changed her bow. Her bow now has a plush heart broach in the knot section because in Ashiteiru, heart symbols are used for a yandere organization to symbolize they are apart of the group. While common members tend to share a symbol, significant members within the group have their own distinguishable symbols. Peppin’s father (who will be posted about later) is not only a signifcant part of the group but has been there since a little after it was established and by proxy she is considered a significant member of the group even if she isn’t an active one. 

I also changed her hair and (somewhat) facial features mainly because I wanted to make her hair more representative to who she is: someone who is mixed (African American/Japanese American.) When I first created her I wasn’t fully sure how to balance both sides of that part of her identity in her appearance and I made mistakes because of that. But I decided to give her 4C hair and monolids instead of double eyelids. I might change her hair in the future mainly because I keep seeing afro puffs with beaded braids on the side and I think it actually might be more characteristic of Peppin than having mainly unstyled hair. Plus I think its a really cute hairstyle. 

There will be more content tho! I am working on a map for the general area Peppin, her roomate, and love interest live in. When I am done I will post that and I do have a few other things I am planning to post when I am done.

Finally remembered to post lmao. 

I tried a bunch of new techniques I thought of for shading and lighting and in general this was really fun to make. Especially the blush, shading the hair, and doing the lil highlights on the bow. Those were the best parts ^^. I was gonna do a full park background buuuut I couldn’t get the colors right, so I just edited a pic of clovers I took from my backyard. I figured because it was a darker green it’d bring out her eyes a bit better. 

OH! Should probably mention, this is for a comic series I’m making called: Aishiteiru. A yandere romance comic about two yanderes learning to have a healthy relationship together as their pasts start catching up to them.
