GT 2023 Day 10: Bruises/Beaten
Y'know, I cannot help but feel bad for that delinquent girl who sits across from us in class, Sayaka.. Knew her since grade school and.. let's just say those days weren't the *best* for her..
Side note: Yep. Using a younger version of an OC/showing a bit of their (not-so-great, honestly) childhood here. For a delinquent later on in life (who honestly isn't a *normal* person) I cannot help but feel sorry for her..

In every other universe, Gwen Stacy falls for Spider-Man. And in every other universe, it doesn't end well.

I like to imagine that some of the previous prompts and this one all represent different nightmares and fears that Miles Morales has.
Day 4 being him confronting The Spot while powerless or after his home is destroyed, Day 13 being him chased and cornered by Miguel, Day 22 being him losing his mentor Peter Parker, and this prompt being his closest friend, Gwen, getting hurt. It's quite sad the more you think about it especially with the release of The Spider Within.. :(
But don't worry, Miles. You can wake up now, the nightmares are finally over..

I think that in the series,they should have given Spadino and Aureliano visible scars
I mean Aureliano with bruised and wounded knuckles because with all the punches he gives and the repressed anger he obviously frees it on objects by punching them. And Spadino with a lot of little scars on his hands because there's no way that after years of practicing with his knife and using it he haven't hurt himself sometimes.
They are self destructive when they want to free all that anger and hatred they feel,and with the terrible life they live,they need comfort and someone to take care of their wounds,and they do it with eachother because they trust eachother enough to show their fragile side.

I was taught how to make bruises with make up in my 8th grade drama class and I'm trying to bring it back now that I have a decent set of make up. I got people at school thinking I had healed frostbite, gotten into a fight, and punched my wall

Even tho it made me cry a lot, it has become one of my comfort fics for when i’m feeling down in the dumps.
