But you turn a blind eye when I feel so free,

I sink into a pond thinking I have something to prove,

I act like I have nothing to lose but hey there's always my dignity,

A hopeless romantic who's love is unrequited.

Feeling I'm the one with malignity,

You were always so uncommitted,

Looking through heart-shaped rose colored sunglasses blissfully.

Even though it's all in my head,

"I'm not the one who leaves"

It filled me with dread,

And now I have to pull down my sleeves
