In Non-sims Related News, I Started A New Save File For Dragon Age: Inquisition After Not Playing It

In non-sims related news, I started a new save file for Dragon Age: Inquisition after not playing it for literally at least five years, because the new game is coming out next month. The funny this is, I already have 10 hours on the save file and I haven't even left Haven yet. πŸ˜…

As Summer Approached, Don Finished Up His Degree. It Happened Faster Than He Would Have Imagined, But

As Summer approached, Don finished up his degree. It happened faster than he would have imagined, but he had been so focused on getting it finished that he had picked up extra classes to end his degree early. He was tired of being in school; he was in his mid-twenties and he was ready to start his life; with Katrina.

He was so happy to see that all of the girls came to watch his graduation. He felt like he had a real family for the first time in his life, and he didn't want to disappoint them. Ever.

"I Hope You Haven't Been Feeling Neglected.", Malcolm Continued, Raising An Eyebrow At His Betrothed.

"I Hope You Haven't Been Feeling Neglected.", Malcolm Continued, Raising An Eyebrow At His Betrothed.

"I hope you haven't been feeling neglected.", Malcolm continued, raising an eyebrow at his betrothed. "You know that you're my first priority, Cassie."

Cassandra could only nod and smile. She felt like she had been doing that her whole life. And, if she went through with the wedding with Malcolm, it would continue. Malcolm would expect her to heel and behave herself. He had been raised rather harshly by his mother, and, after Johnny left the family to chase his dreams of building his own fortune without the Landgraab name, she had been particularly hard on her younger son. Cassandra felt bad for him, but she also knew that he wasn't going to change. There was too much at stake.

"Malcolm....there's something I have to tell you.", she started, as he rose from his seat and offered her his hand.

"Later, my little songbird. Let's sit on the couch and watch that documentary I was telling you about! The one about the founding of Pleasantview? I know your family has connections there and it should be really very interesting to you."

Cassie hated that about Malcolm. She hated that he never wanted to listen to her talk. He didn't value her words, or her voice, and that was why the irony of him calling her songbird as a pet name wasn't lost on her. But, maybe that was the whole reason why he called her that. He only wanted to hear her when she was happy and pleasant; not when her emotions were getting the best for her.

She followed him over to the couch and they settled in to watch the movie. It was boring stuff, really; mostly because everything in the documentary she already knew about. Her father had done extensive research on his family and their legacy before moving to Willow Creek to settle down and start a new life. Did she really need to hear all of this again from some quack who was convinced there was some conspiracy to rewrite time? It just sounded too strange to be true.

Nevertheless, she couldn't concentrate on the movie anyway. Not with the way his hand was rubbing her thigh, as he had pulled her legs into his lap. Cassie knew what was coming, and she was hoping she would be able to talk him out of it this time. Only time would tell.

Cassandra Hated The Way He Was Looking At Her. She Had Purposefully Tried To Insinuate His Lack Of Intelligence

Cassandra hated the way he was looking at her. She had purposefully tried to insinuate his lack of intelligence to insult him and ruin the mood, but it didn't seem to be working. In fact, it was almost as if he enjoyed that she was mocking him and putting him down. It was...interesting, but it made her wonder if this was why his parents had stayed together for so long.

"I think you need to let yourself have more imagination, Cassandra.", Malcolm said as he continued to stroke her leg intently. "It's arrogant to imagine that humanity knows everything. It's also arrogant to imagine that we're the only people out there. And if believing in the paranormal and supernatural is stupid of me, then I guess I'm stupid."

"Cole", she said, taking a deep breath and exhaling through her nostrils. "I know we've talked about this....about you..."

"About me, what, Cassandra?", he asked, his eyes glaring into her as if trying to intimidate her into not speaking up or voicing her thoughts. When she was younger, this would have made her go quiet, but, as time passed, she had found her voice, and she wasn't willing to let him bully her into submission.

"I know what you're doing and I...don't want to have sex with you tonight.", she said, plainly, drawing the line in the sand. "I told you that I want to wait until we're...married..."

An excuse. One that she hoped he would buy, and respect, but, truthfully, she just couldn't stand the thought of him touching her. He was as cruel with his intimacy as he was in every other aspect of her life, and she just didn't think that was how love should be. She wanted to be with someone who respected her and her body, and Malcolm Landgraab had never shown any indication that was true.

He sucked in air through his teeth, shaking his head as he reached up to stroke at his temple. "You always say that, Cass. It's fucking exhausting. We're going to be married by the end of the summer. Why do we have to wait? You know Mother wants me to get you pregnant as soon as possible. The Landgraab name is at stake!"

There it was again; the subtle reminder that he was not marrying her for love. He was marrying her because he had to sire an heir to his family's fortune. There were several girls from wealthy families that would jump at the chance to marry Malcolm Landgraab, and a few from not so wealthy families as well. Why did it have to be her?

"I said no. That's enough.", Cassandra said softly, looking away as she attempted to remove her legs from him but he kept a firm grip on them. "You will have your heir after we are married and not a moment before. Touch me again, and I'll make sure that my father knows that you keep crossing my boundaries and he will not tolerate it."
