Hi so I’m gonna start doing this thing where I’ll post 3 fic recs a week to force myself to post (I have procrastination issues and also school sucks so I can’t read fics as much as I used to), so here’s the recs of the week! Enjoy!

(borrowing summary by author) Chan is confused because one second Felix had a nightmare about him dying and the next he didn't remember it.Felix is confused because one minute, Chan died from an overdose, and the next he's sticking his head into his room and asking him if he wants hot chocolate.

So I think I’m gonna start rating the fics I recommend just to give you an idea of what I would recommend the most, so for my previous posts I’ll just edit my ratings in (which I edit my posts a lot sometimes I’ll notice a spelling error and just go dhbwhbfherhfbehrbfh NO). Anyhow, let’s get down to business!

1 - 5 (probably will never see)

1 - 6 are the ones I wouldn’t really recommend, although I doubt you’ll ever see them on my page. Kinda self explanatory too, I guess?

Good, but they didn’t really stick with me and I had to re-read them to actually rate them. (I have like, 57 fics bookmarked on ao3, and that’s just for SKZ, so sometimes storylines and whatnot get jumbled in my head, and I’ll be like oh this fic is the one where such and such happens, but it’s actually another fic. Or I’ll click on it and be like “what was this fic about again”)

9 - 10

Again, as I mentioned, I have 57 fics on SKZ bookmarked on ao3, so if it’s rated 9 or 10, definitely worth reading because I looked at the title and went “oh yeah that was a good one” (good time to mention my memory is absolute shit.)

Hi everyone! 

I haven’t posted in a really long time, i know. I’ve made so many excuses for my absence and if this one just sounds like another excuse, i honestly don’t blame you. 

Recently, my mental health has not been the best. It’s so hard to focus on anything, and I don’t have the energy to get up and be productive. School has also been really stressful recently. 

I’m really sorry for my absence, and to be honest, i don’t know if i’ll post at all anymore. Feel free to hang around, or unfollow if you want. Maybe i’ll post again or give you an update when I finally feel better and have my shit together, but for now, I’ll be taking a really, really, really long break. Maybe a few weeks, or even a few years, and I can’t even promise that I’ll be back, but I can say that I’ll try my best to.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me; every like or follow truly does mean so much. I hope that maybe one day I’ll show up on your fyp again.

Fic Rec of the Week

Hello everyone, and welcome back to the first fic rec of the week in a long time! I hope you enjoy my recommendations today! :)

under the sky in room 553 i discovered you and i by spellfire (Teen and Up Audiences)

Summary (borrowing author’s summary because I can’t put this beautiful masterpiece of angst into words) : “Have you ever heard about the origami hearts tradition in the hospital?” 

Taking the heart, the child excitedly inspected it, nodding in glee. “Yes! My mama told me that when someone leaves the hospital to go to heaven, we all fold a paper heart for them! Like this, like this!” 

“That’s right,” chuckled Soobin. “But do you know how it started? It started here, in this room. From a boy who used to fold a paper heart every day for his lost love, hoping each one he makes will take him closer to the day those eyes would open again.”

"Unfortunately for him, the day never came."

In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.

Personal Note: First, let’s welcome our very first TXT fic. Second, you might have seen this fic blowing up over tiktok, and let me tell you, it is so worth the hype. This fic almost made me cry, and it takes a lot to even make me almost cry. So yes, it’s very angsty, but I love it.

Not to mention there's something else weighing on Seungmin's mind, a secret not even Jeongin can know.Hwang Hyunjin is the boy he didn't expect to come into the picture, but perhaps its all the better that he did.
