A survival guide for finals week

It's coming up unfortunately and it's probably the most stressful week you'll have in the semester and for some reason, every time it comes around it seems like the universe has it out for you. Here are some tips that have helped me and hopefully can help you!!! Feel free to add on!

Carry water with you everywhere. Nervous? Drink. Tired? Drink. Angry? Drink. Get hydrated and drink lots of water.

Don't cram. Get GOOD sleep. No all-nighters. Please

Start studying now. When the week comes, you'll be too stressed to actually study effectively

Take walks. When you get stressed and overwhelmed, take a walk! Get out of your room and head and just walk until you feel better (please be safe though)

Caffeine

Eat something healthy. Not everything has to be healthy. But some foods like salmon, broccoli, whatever. Nourish your body and it'll nourish you back

Save some money so you can take the week off.

Have a relaxing outlet that doesn't take energy. Maybe a cozy game? Latte art?

Play with some animals. This is scientifically proven to reduce stress btw so it's for health reasons

Your finals don't always happen when your classes happen so make sure you triple check dates and times

Feel some sunshine

Get a good Playlist that makes you happy

Try some yoga or something to distract yourself when you wanna cry

Learn how to harvest salt from your tears

If it's a cumulative final, go through past exams and quizzes and stuff. Those tend to cover the "important" material and will likely show up

Make cute study sheets! I know if my notes look boring I CAN'T study

Naps! Bonus if they're with animals

Try to get a study group together and study and chill

Believe in yourself! You got this!!!! You're better than you think and I have full faith in you and your abilities!

If you love the class, study because you love it!

If you hate the class, study so you never have to see that fucking teacher and listen to that stupid class ever again in your entire life.

Make yourself happy, cute drinks and happy, cute meals

Celebrate at the end. Please. You deserve it

Don't let it consume your every waking moment. It's just a test. Just another test

Tell yourself how amazing you are. You're doing something not everyone even gets the chance to. That's super awesome!!!

Eat some cake

DIAVOLO

Was DEFINITELY intrigued when you first arrived in Devildom

And was also very pleased to see you getting along with the brothers

He rarely got to see you during your stay and that definitely made him sad at times :(

But the moment he gained a free day he IMMEDIATELY went to the House of Lamentation to take you out on a hangout

He insisted it was a hangout to get to know you better, but Asmo teased that he was taking you out on a date

During your not date, he sprang up with all sorts of questions about your stay, the human realm, how you’re feeling, and you in general

Total sweetheart in waiting for your answers

Also he took you out to a restaurant, Ristorante Six to be exact, and you two were seated and only waiting for waiter to come and serve you two

“Do all your relatives have your hair color, MC?”

“No, it’s just me. I ate too much sakura mochi and it ended up coloring my hair,” you said with a sheepish smile

Needless to say Diavolo was stoked and Barbatos now knows how to make the perfect sakura mochi

Sometimes Diavolo could be spotted snacking on sakura mochi

Also his hair turned pink and green and he was so excited to match with you but he had to dye his hair back to his natural color after a week because of Lucifer

Back to the present, when the waiter arrived and asked you two for your orders, Diavolo ordered a fairly large amount just for himself because he’s a growing demon, about to apologize to you for ordering that much he silenced himself when you began to order YOUR food

The waiter did nothing but raise a brow but wrote it down anyway and left before Diavolo could protest

Diavolo was very VERY worried because of the consequences of not finishing your food there and so he told you this

You reassured him that it would be fine and he didn’t bring it up, whatever that may happen, he could always make it disappear, he IS the future king of Devildom, and like hell he’s not gonna use his status to protect you

When the food arrived, easy to say that it was mountains upon mountains of food, one would think that Beelzebub was sitting at the table

Diavolo was obviously nervous for the turnout of events, but you two continued conversation over food

He couldn’t help but think gape at how easy it was for you to eat what you had ordered, but he started to lose attention on your eating to focus on the conversation at hand

You told him stories of the human realm, about your family, your siblings, and about your friends there

When time had come, needless to say he didn’t have to worry about the curse being placed on you anymore, every plate and dish served to you two were clean and without leftovers

And before leaving, you two had ordered some hefty takeout for Beel and maybe a few more for you to take home

It was when you were back in your room and Dia back in the palace did you realize how much you ate in fRONT OF THE DEMON PRINCE

You couldn’t face Dia for a couple of days because of it, but Diavolo only laughed and said it was no problem, his wallet didn’t even take a dent at that night and said that he was always open for another dinner with you

He liked picking you up at times, especially during hugs or just for fun

One day you thought to give him some payback and during the hug, before Dia could lift you in the air, you beat him to it

Wrapping your arms around his oddly small waist, you lifted him up with ease

It was like lifting a boulder, sure, but nothing so heavy that you struggled

Everyone gaped at you two during this interaction, of course they would, you easily picked up a demon who was twice your size

Dia was stunned for a quick moment before giving out his lovable and contagious laughter while patting your back, complimenting your strength

It felt nice that someone could pick him up with no shame, he for once felt like a regular demon and not the prince

For the rest of the day you picked him up like how he’d do to you, giving him in a bridal style and carrying him from place to place like a chaperone

Asmo took a picture of this and uploaded it into Devilgram, Levi took a video and it went viral, Lucifer was pinching the bridge of his nose

It was very fun, to say the least

BARBATOS

Barbatos rarely even got to talk to you due to his duties as a butler

He would often see you though, in the halls of RAD, during your visits to the Palace for Diavolo, stuff like that

It took you two awhile to actually have a full conversation

It was during a day that Diavolo went somewhere with Lucifer and didn’t bring Barbatos with him, so Barbatos was managing things in the palace

Then

He came across a rat

He was frozen in place and engaged in a staring contest with the creature, his hands balled into fists as he tries to find a way to escape

Usually he’d get Diavolo or someone else to handle them but he was alone and no Little Ds seemed to be in the area

He was trapped

And then he heard your voice

You entered the palace asking for his name, obviously confused because he always greeted you at the door

He couldn’t find the courage within himself to call out and say that he was here because the rat was currently sniffing the air while looking directly at him

You found him after a minute of walking aimlessly and had to visibly hide your giggle when you saw what was happening

Nearly passed out in relief when you took the rat outside

“I didn’t know you were scared of rats, Barbatos!”

“I’m quite sorry if I looked unprofessional during that.. Moment,” he coughed in his hand, suppressing a blush

You laughed it off and said it was nice seeing him ‘unprofessional’ for once

He told you that Diavolo was off with Lucifer and also apologized that you came all the way to the palace for nothing

You shook your head saying that you already knew that Dia and Lucifer were off on a -romantic getaway- meeting and that you were actually here to see him!

He blinked in slight surprise and you continued talking, saying that you two didn’t have any time to get to know each other because he was so busy and concluded that this day would be the perfect day to get to know him because he didn’t have a Diavolo to butler to

During this tangent you realized yourself that while Diavolo may be gone at the moment there's’ still a high chance that Barbatos is busy and you’re interrupting his work

Before you could excuse yourself he said that it was fine, and he can take an impromptu break every now and again

And that my folks is how you and Barbatos bonded

He brought up the time he learned how to make sakura mochis for Diavolo after your dinner together and gave some over to you

Back to headcanons

This man had taste tested his sakura mochis before, and definitely ate quite plenty

I’m insinuating that his hair turned pink and green

One day he just woke up with pink and green air and realized that This was the reason your hair was like that

And when he visited Diavolo he was in equal shock to see his Lord also sporting the pink and green color

Nearly smacked Solomon over the head when he was summoned via pact and Solomon was doubling over in laughter

Asmo was also dying when he saw him

He kept his hair for quite a few days before dying it back to normal and only eating sakura mochi twice every one month

He learned of your strength when he walked in on you carrying Diavolo to the Student Council room

He only blinked and greeted the both of you with his calm smile, pouring some tea

He also learned of your eating habits during your first stay in the Palace and ate nearly all the food he had prepared

He was VERY happy to find out you enjoyed his cooking and baking

Happy Barbatos = Happy Life

SIMEON

Simeon took an interest to you during your first interaction

You were open, bubbly, and he would have assumed that you were another angel if the program had taken place in the Celestial Realm

You liked to go to Purgatory Hall at times to spend time with him, Luke, and Solomon

You got along with Luke extraordinarily well, it was that time that he and the other two found out you had five siblings

Did not mention your peculiar hair color up until you mentioned it to Luke in passing when young angel asked your favorite snack

Did not find out about your strength on his own, he witnessed you carry Diavolo like a sack of potatoes

Simeon expressed some interest and wonder as to how it felt to be carried by you

But he expressed this thought out loud and near you

Safe to say you heard and offered to carry him and he enthusiastically let you

He had fun being carried around, and sure Luke gaped to see him and told him to stop acting so childish and that Simeon can walk just fine on his own

To which you responded with shuffling Simeon out of a bridal carry into holding him with your right arm where he sat on the crook of your arm, and proceeding to pick up Luke in the same style but with your left arm

You walked around with two angels in your arms

It was quite an adorable sight really, while you and the two angels talked, Asmo was busy taking several pictures, Mammon and Levi both fighting for the title of Avatar of Envy, and Lucifer pinching the bridge of his nose

When Luke told him of your food intake, he felt so bad for practically starving you whenever you ate with them because he’s the one who cooks for Purgatory Hall

So whenever you eat with the gang Simeon makes sure he has almost triple the food he usually looks

SOLOMON

At first thought your hair was something that went wrong during the transport from the human realm to Devildom

Was in for a shock that it was actually just pigmentation from overconsumption of a certain snack

Tried to make said snack and it ended up so disastrous that he nearly threw up in his mouth tasting it

He did not mention this attempt to make sakura mochi to you or to anyone, honestly the first time he didn’t make an attempt to share his unholy creation with the others

Then he summoned Barbatos to ask him to make some sakura mochi

Easy to say his day got significantly better seeing Barbatos rock pink and green hair

After the 10th try of making sakura mochi this time with Barbatos’ guide, he finally made some that’s at LEAST digestible

Those he shared with you

You ate them with slight confusion at the taste but you managed to swallow them without gagging, that was an achievement

The others still wouldn’t eat them but you did so :DD

When he learned of your strength he thought it was a result of a strength enhancer or charm of the sorts

But turns out no you were just built like that

And suddenly you became his assistant to carrying heavy objects and the such

Yeah sure he can use magic to carry his stuff but it doesn’t have the same feel to it as having someone carry it for him

When he saw you carrying Simeon and Luke in both your hands, he tried to join in the fun and tried to jump on your back and bring you all down

Childish of him sure but let this old man have some fun at least

But then when he did jump you, you didn’t move from your spot and only gave out an “Eh??” of confusion, Simeon hiding his laughter, and Luke scolding Solomon

So now he was attached on your back like a koala, his legs wrapped around your waist and arms around our neck, he held himself up like that and you basically became a human car for the Purgatory Hall gang

It was kinda funny to see though, because two of the people you were carrying were definitely taller than you, and the third was barking at them because they might be giving you a hard time while you just walked around with a big smile on your face

He tried cooking for you once but managed to burn down the kitchen where he was already banned from

So you two just bonded in Akudonalds

Great date, 9/10, one point missing because the fries were too salty

BONUS PLATONIC LUKE

And here we have our baby chihuahua angel

Liked you from the very beginning and was in genuine fear that staying in Devildom would corrupt your entire being

Assigned himself as your guardian angel throughout your stay and you two bonded so much that if you could, you would adopt this boy

Loves having you try out the pastries he bakes

You would give top notch criticism, your thoughts on the pastry he baked, and also gave him a few lessons in cooking too

You liked everything he cooked and baked and encouraged him to try new things

Would be so thankful and even more starry-eyed when you defended him from being called a chihuahua

Wasn’t aware of your superhuman strength but knew you were fit because you liked to carry him any chance you get

He would complain about it if your hugs weren’t so secure and safe

Also didn’t know the extent of your hunger

During the times you would eat at Purgatory Hall, you did ask for seconds or thirds if there were still food but he excused it as you just being hungry

When he learned of how much you actually ate and of your daily food intake he at first went: That’s the same portions of Beel’s food! And then immediately felt bad when he realized they were underfeeding you

He wasn’t present in the moment that you carried Diavolo, so he never learned how strong you actually were until one day

He was cornered by a couple of demons who liked to tease and bully him, sometimes even threatening to eat him whole

Just as he was about to cry and scream for help, you came in

When you announced your presence he at first felt relief then fear because you were going to get caught up in this mess, and HE was supposed to be protecting you!

He told you to run away and go get Simeon or Beel but you shook your head and went straight to the demons teasing him

The demons only laughed to themselves saying that they were going to get a side dish

You told them to leave Luke alone and tried using words and diplomacy

Luke interrupted you to warn you about one of the demons about to jump you

You didn’t get the memo fast enough and one of them hit you with a chair straight to the back

Luke definitely cried but stopped when you calmly turned around, scratching your back with a small whine and glared at the demon

You scolded them like an angry parent and kicked and slapped them so hard it left bruises

They only left when you broke one of their bones just with your grip

Luke was scared, not of you but for you

It was then on that he decided to get stronger in order to protect you instead of the other way around

Sweet baby boy, I want to adopt him despite hating children

That’s one way to age gracefully. Everyone was so oblivious

Imagine MC (it’s you) became immortal without the boys’ knowledge (maybe you weren’t even aware). The flow of time to the demons & angels & immortal sorcerer was different so they kept spending loving time with you without realizing you had stayed the same for nearly 100 years.

Until one day, they decided to throw you a 100th anniversary of you coming to Devildom. And during the celebration, one of them said you were still so young and beautiful like the day you set foot in Devildom. Then the rest realized something was wrong.

Yes, I loooove tweels, and, in secret, I have several stories in works for them. Though I must warn you they are mostly AUs.

Married life with Jade Leech

Life can be so unpredictable at times. He hadn't expected to marry, or anyone to actually fall in love with him for that matter. What a strange one you are, associating yourself with someone like him. He smiles, pressing a kiss to your head before going to bed.

He doesn't like to go out and socialize a lot, preferring to tend to his terrariums and drink tea at home instead. Don't worry! Floyd visits almost everyday, and will certainly drag your husband outside. Play nice~

Likes going on weekly hikes with you. It's good exercise, and you get to see all sorts of flora. He'll find a way to get you to go with him, no matter how much you dislike it, whether through taking advantage of your soft spot for him or beating you in a dare.

Acts of service, yes. He likes doing housework, keeping everything in order, it's satisfying for him. He'll make your favourite drink, give you a massage after work, anything for your happiness. He might get flustered if you do the same for him though.

He prefers to call you by your real name over a pet name. Your name is so pretty and elegant and utterly yours, why wouldn’t he prefer it more? But when he does call you by a pet name, it would be ‘Love’ or 'my sweet’ ❤️.

Jade wouldn't mind having some pets, but he doesn't actively want any, it's mostly up to you. He would prefer pets that can be kept in tanks, like fish and frogs. They're easier to take care of, and don't cause messes.

He isn't too choked up over being away from his family. It's natural for children to go off on their own once they grow up, on land and in sea. But he will take you to annual family gatherings, where you'll get to know his perfectly normal family 😊.

All in all, you've scored yourself a husband and butler package deal. May your marriage last for years to come~
