We’re back!!!!! Sorry for the delay! But just in time for @bluejay785​‘s birthday, we have the birthday smoots!!! Thank you to whoever nominated this beauty for the Feudal Connection 1st quarter of 2022 as well! This piece is true and dear to my heart not only because it is a for a friend I actually met irl because of this fandom who is sweet, kind, funny, and awesome to hang out with, but because it also gave me the opportunity to work with the beautiful and talented kalcia :) I love collaborations and she is such an amazing person to work with!!!

The Real Me: Chapter 24, now live on Ao3!

Hello, everyone! It’s been a little while, but @kalcia and I are really excited to bring you the penultimate chapter of The Real Me, which is now live on Ao3!

This chapter had a LOT of moving parts, so I apologize for taking some time to get them all just so. Kalcia was super supportive, and patient, as I grunted and groaned my way across several things these last few months, trying to capture exactly the right feel for this really important moment in Inuyasha and Kagome’s lives. I think I finally got it right, and hope that you think so, too!

How important is this moment? Well, this is the chapter where Inuyasha and Kagome complete the mating ceremony, and “celebrate” their marriage. (Yes, this chapter is spicy, so please heed the tags!) Plus, Kagome has news for Inuyasha.

What kind of news? You will have to check out the chapter for kalcia’s art, as we decided to keep it a surprise 🥰 I will say, though, that it was one of two pieces (along with the art for the final chapter) that she had done, and then said, “Can we fit these in?” and immediately I started plotting out the additional chapters. So thank you, kalcia, for the inspiration all those months ago, and your patience as I worked out how exactly the rest of the story would go.
