His face just screams how proud and happy he is of her.
And Moroha is just as happy that he recognizes how strong she is. Her face just says it all. This is probably the first time someone has ever praised her like that. She's happy her father is proud of her.

I can't really tell what Inuyasha's think in this moment. So many thoughts must be crossing through his mind. I can only assume that he's still processing the fact that after 14 years he's finally getting to meet and hold his daughter. Maybe he's still not even convinced she's really in front of him.
Then he hugs her. HE hugs her. Finally she's there. His daughter, in his arms. Where she belongs. He's happy. After 14 years he finally has his daughter back, and he's happy. So incredibly glad she's with him. His thoughts must be filled with just "Moroha" Just him repeating that in his head over and over again ,his daughter Moroha, because that's all he can think of, Moroha. He nuzzles her head in such a loving manner telling her how she was always their number one thought, how they we're always thinking of her and never stopped, and how they wanted to see her.
And then she starts crying. You can already tell that, much like with his wife, he hates it she's suffering, and will be a sucker for her tears. She's lived her entire life feeling unwanted, lonely, cast away. She's lived the same life he did when he was a child. The same life he never wanted her to live. And he knows that. Now he's feeling regretful, sorry. He's probably apologizing in his head, much like Kagome did, over and over again swearing that from now on she'll never be alone, cold, or mistreated ever again. That he'll protect her like he does with her mother. And that he's sorry she had to live without them.
