8. I think I’m in love with you.

[10:27 a.m.] today, byungchan was getting his wisdom teeth removed, and you came along because someone needed to drive him back home after the procedure. besides, were you going to miss out on the incredible opportunity to film a loopy byungchan? absolutely not. “I’m terrified, what if they take out the wrong tooth? what if there’s too much blood loss? what if-” you cut off byungchan’s rambling by placing your hand on top of his and saying, “hey. relax, everything will be fine. they can’t mess this up, the dentist does this for a living. don’t worry, okay? the faster this goes, the faster we can leave, okay? don’t panic, I’m right here.” hearing your soothing voice seems to calm byungchan does a little, as his breathing slows and his nods his head. “choi byungchan? the dentist is ready for you.” you both stand and follow the nurse that walks you into one of the rooms. you take a seat in the corner and byungchan sits on the patient’s seat. you see byungchan begin to look around, eyes examining the room. you patted his knee and an encouraging “you got this” fell from your mouth. a nervous smile made its way onto his face when the dentist came in, all cheery. “byungchan! how are we doing?” “uhh, just peachy, doc,” byungchan gulped. “no need to be nervous! it’ll be over as soon as it starts.” the doctor gives him a pat on the shoulder before turning his attention towards you.

“can I know your relationship to the patient?” the dentist inquires to which you nod, answering, “I’m his best friend.” that was a total lie, you think in your head. sure, you and byungchan have been best friends for forever now, but as of maybe a few months ago, you slowly started to see him in a different light. suddenly the interlocking of your fingers brought butterflies to your stomach and the dimpled smiles he sent your way made your heart race. “is it okay if I have you wait outside? I apologize if you wanted to wait in here with him, but I cannot have you in here.” you shift your glance to byungchan, who nods and mouths “I’ll be fine” before you comply with the dentist’s request, giving byungchan a quick thumbs-up before leaving the room and heading back out to the waiting area. you didn’t realize how much time had gone by when the dentist came out, removing his mask and catching your attention, “byungchan’s all done. you can help him out of the room if you’d like.” you walk back into the room, and find byungchan groggily opening and closing his eyes, his cheeks were puffed and he was resembling a chipmunk. once his eyes were on you, he smiled widely before wincing, “ah, that’s a weird feeling. y/nnnn my best frienddddd, when’d you get heeere?” 

you went around and held his hands, “come on, let’s go. up, up, up!” suddenly byungchan’s weight overpowered your own, and having trouble steadying him, you found yourself leaning against a wall, with byungchan hovering over you. you tried not to notice the way his eyes seemed to slowly skim over your features. you managed to release yourself from his grasp and went on to help him out of the room. “wait, y/n.” he started feeling his face, up and down. he looked at you and his eyes watered. “where’s my face?” you tried your hardest to keep a straight face, but you couldn’t resist but let out a laugh. “it’s still there, byungchan. don’t cry. here,” you pulled up your front camera on snapchat and showed it to him, secretly recording the situation going down in front of you. “wow, it’s still here! thank you, y/nnnn for helping me find my lost face!!! I think i’m in love with you.” he grabbed your face, squishing your cheeks together and kissed you square on the lips. you were a blushing mess from then till the ride back to byungchan’s house while he, from the second he sat in your car, was out like a light. “byungchan, we’re here.” after a few gentle shakes, he woke up, seeing his house and said, “thanks for dropping me off, y/n.” you quickly mumbled out a no problem before rushing home. your heart felt like it dropped as you realized the snap video you made earlier was now on your story. your friends were all replying saying that they knew you guys would eventually be a couple. and you dreaded your existence when you saw that byungchan had seen it also. the next morning, you awaken from a phone call from byungchan. “so, you wanna go grab a coffee so we can talk about yesterday? there’s not much to talk about, other than I would like to formally ask you out on a date.” needless to say, you took him up on his offer and this marked the beautiful journey of your newly formed relationship with byungchan, and you couldn’t be happier.

I’m so happy to finally share this with you all!!

i’ve been working on this game for a few weeks, and now that my previous drabble game is officially over, here’s my new drabble game!

so this is how it’s going to work:

you can request anyone, I will write for pdx101, x1, bts, got7, day6, nct, sf9, ikon and others. all you need to do is the following:

1. pick your muse (who do you want me to write for?)

2. pick a number from 1-19 (this is going to be the ‘prompt’ per se; it can be how you meet, a moment in your relationship or even a line of dialogue.)

the catch: the only thing you can control is who this is going to be with. the prompt will determine whether it will come out as angsty or fluffy. each time someone requests something, I will display the number they chose, along with what it is (i’ll write out the prompt, so eventually everyone will know what number corresponds with what prompt) dm me if any of this is confusing, but without further ado, requests are open!

a/n: I think this moved quite fast, but regardless, I hope you guys enjoy the read!!

you and seungyoun started dating around five years ago

three years ago, he decided to propose to you,,, on your birthday

it was cute and all, the way he decided to do it

you guys went to a park for a small dinner picnic and he hid the ring inside a cupcake

but it turned out that he ended up getting that cupcake and when he pulled out the icing covered ring, you laughed and sheepishly he asked you if you wanted to be his wife

needless to say, you said yes and your relationship as husband and wife has been going two years strong 💪

this year was the first birthday in your relationship where you two weren’t together

usually, seungyoun would be at home for his birthday but because his schedule has been so stuffed, he hasn’t had much free time, which meant he was barely ever home

so naturally, to keep the tradition of celebrating birthdays together, you decided to surprise him at the dorm, which was about an hour away from your home

he’s doing a vlive and you are logged in watching him on the subway, sending a bunch of hearts. you then commented, “happy birthday!”

seungyoun knew that you had a vlive account (you refused to name it anything else other than mrschoxo) so when he saw your comment, he breathily laughed and thanked you, sending a small wink towards the camera 

and in all honesty, even though you’ve been together for so long, small things like that always managed to make you shy and he knew that, too

soon, you arrived at the station near the dorms and made your way there

you made sure to stop by a small bakery on your way there and pick up a cupcake for him (funfetti because he’s a fun guy 😄) and you continue on your way to the dorm

at this point, seungyoun is wrapping up the vlive and just as he ends it, you knock on the door of the dorm

hangyul opens the door and is surprised to see you there, and before he says anything you just shush him and you whisper “where’s seungyoun”

he motions the room and you pat his shoulder, thanking him before going into the room

upon hearing the door open, seungyoun turns around and his eyebrows shoot up into his hairline and the biggest grin formed on his face (you’d only seen that grin on your wedding day) 

he comes closer and wraps his arms around you and you wish him a happy birthday

“we never celebrated each other’s birthday away from each other so I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you”

hearing this made his heart swell and he leaned in and pecked your lips before saying “thank you for coming”

later on, you two cut the cupcake you brought for him and you eat it together

“so where’s my present?” seungyoun whispers against your neck

you turn your head to face him and you motion to yourself

seungyoun laughs and says, “of course, you’re the best present ever”

smiling playfully, you bit your lip and look up at him

“actually, there is one thing...” 

curious, he meets your eyes, tilting his head to the side

you lean in and whisper, “instead of celebrating two birthdays every year, we may be celebrating three”

seungyoun’s eyes widen and with a wavering voice, he asks, “you don’t mean..”

with moist eyes, you nod, “yes, seungyoun, I’m pregnant”

and he holds you close, voice cracking as he says“this is the best present ever, and nothing can come close” 

and both of you shed tears of happiness, the two of you excited to introduce your future bundle of joy into your little world

[1:34 a.m.] “come back to me” by se7en comes on as you finish the last sentences of your paper. you stop typing for a second and smile as you think about yohan. this was your song, he would tell you. he said that this song was special to him, because it’s brought him nothing but good luck. “it was the song playing in the background when I first met you, and i’ve gotten nothing far from lucky with you in my life, so i’m going to perform this for the rank test, too.” he said to you before giving you one last hug and heading to the produce dorms. you couldn’t help but shoot him a quick text. “hey, I miss you. you’ll do great, and remember that i’m always supporting you.” you send the message and resume looking over your paper.
