this was extremely hard to narrow down because I really,, felt like there were so many talented people. especially this time around. I sincerely wish the best to all of them, and to those eliminated, I wish to see them debut someday.

this list, in my opinion, has a good balance of visuals, vocals, rappers, and dancers. that being said, I still think it’s missing someone very important: baekjin from vine. I want to save baekjin because I think he’s extremely underrated and it’s a shame that his last stage didn’t go so well. baekjin fighting!

10. we’re here to win not whine.
[9:31 a.m.] normally, you wouldn’t be awake at this time on the weekend you were off. but you were today, why? because you are a counselor at a kid’s camp, Camp Cinco, and today you were having a laser tag battle against the staff from your rival camp, Camp Oui. it sounds a little childish out loud, considering that you and your colleagues are a bunch of college kids or post-grad students, but winning this game would mean that you’ve brought pride to the camp’s name. plus, you’re quite competitive, if you don’t say so yourself. so in other words, you are going to kick some ass today.
you meet your coworkers and chat when you see the camp oui staff walk into the center. a man who seems to be a few years older than you lead the way, followed by the rest of their players. he seems to be the head counselor, you think. your camp’s head counselor, gyuhyung, goes to greet him. You hear him introduce himself as sunho. they talk for a bit, then head back over to their respective areas. gyuhyung huddles you all together and starts reciting his game plan, “ok byungchan, you and sohee will go to the far left corner. gaeun, eunsang and I will guard this perimeter. meanwhile, sihoon, donghyun, and suhyun stay on the ground and keep a sharp eye. finally, y/n and jungmo, you two stay on the top, cover both sides, okay? let’s go, fighting!”
you cheer and you look up to the opposing team to find a really cute guy looking at you, from the other team. “yohan! focus!” you hear sunho say, which captures the boy’s attention. then, they huddle and start talking, and you hear someone groan, you hear sunho say, “we’re here to win, not whine, okay? alright, everyone, keep your head in the game, alright? fighting!” they all come and line up next to you and your group. the boy from before is standing next to you. you look up at him and he grins and wishes you good luck. “you too, although I’m not really supposed to say that,” you whisper. to this, he responds with a goofy smile (you mentally note that you really wanna see him smile like that again) and shrugs, “it’s all good..?” “y/n.” he repeats your name and you feel butterflies in your stomach. he introduces himself as yohan, and you exchange small talk until the horn is heard, signaling the start of the game. you say bye to him and enter the room.
after standing by your word, you and your team kick some ass hard. you’ve beaten the team by hundreds of points and you go out to see that you’re the top shooter from your team. as your coworkers come to you and congratulate you, you see yohan approach you. “not bad, y/n.” you look to see his score too. yohan’s also the top shooter for his team. “you’re not so bad yourself.” he laughs and says thanks to you. “so, I wanted to know, now that all of this is over, would you like to go grab a coffee?” the tips of his ears are red, and you’re not sure if it’s because he’s exhausted or he’s nervous but you say yes. you just won for your camp, and you scored a cute date? can your weekend get any better than this?

[1:34 a.m.] “come back to me” by se7en comes on as you finish the last sentences of your paper. you stop typing for a second and smile as you think about yohan. this was your song, he would tell you. he said that this song was special to him, because it’s brought him nothing but good luck. “it was the song playing in the background when I first met you, and i’ve gotten nothing far from lucky with you in my life, so i’m going to perform this for the rank test, too.” he said to you before giving you one last hug and heading to the produce dorms. you couldn’t help but shoot him a quick text. “hey, I miss you. you’ll do great, and remember that i’m always supporting you.” you send the message and resume looking over your paper.

a/n: my dearest anon, I’m so sorry this took so long! I just had my final exam last week so i’ve been studying for that, also whenever I tried writing this I kept having writer’s block.. regardless I’m glad it’s finished and I really hope you like it!
I’m not entirely sure about yohan’s family background, other than that his dad was like a taekwondo master and he has two younger sisters.. so I kind of threw the details together at random.

[6:53 p.m.] you feel your hands getting clammy as you clench and unclench them. yohan senses your nervousness and reaches over, keeping one hand steady on the steering wheel and resting his other hand on your knee, gently rubbing on it. “don’t stress out, they’re not evil or anything. in fact, they’re the opposite.” “ahh, I know, I know, I’m just...nervous. I hope they like me.” you say to yohan, who laughs as a response. you shoot him a bewildered look, “I’m serious, what if they think I’m not good enough for you? or what if they say that they like me, but actually don’t?” yohan parks the car into his familiar driveway before fully facing you, hands on your shoulders. “hey, relax. everything will be fine, trust me. they’ll love you. I told them all about you and they are very excited to meet you. so don’t worry, okay?” giving you a quick peck on your forehead, yohan gets out of the car and goes around to open the door for you. “thank you, how do I look?” you quickly adjust your dress, smoothing it out before moving on to your hair. “you look great. let’s go.” and he grabbed your hand, intertwining your fingers. you exhaled and gripped the flowers you bought for yohan’s mother.he knocked on the door and not even a minute later, it opened to reveal an older woman, about your height, but she has the same dazzling smile as yohan. she moves over to let you two in and wraps her arms around yohan’s waist, squeezing him tight.
“my yohan, welcome home! and you must be y/n!” she uncoils her arms from around yohan before delicately encasing your hands in her own. “it’s so great to finally meet you. yohan told me that you were beautiful but his words don’t do much justice.” you blush at her comment and shyly avert your gaze to the ground. you hand the bouquet of flowers to her, saying, “this is for you, ahjumma. and your home is very nice.” she accepts the flowers, giving them a quick smell. “they smell lovely, thank you.” yohan takes off his shoes, and so do you. you follow yohan’s gaze to a chair across the room, on which yohan’s father is reading a newspaper. yohan bows and greets him and upon hearing his son’s voice, he smiles and puts his paper down before approaching the two of you. he hugs yohan, patting his back, before letting go and smiling broadly at his son. “how’s my champ doing?” yohan smiles wide, replying back that he’s doing well and then he turns to you, and you bow respectfully, greeting him. he smiles and you guys talk for some time. a few minutes later, yohan’s mom joins you, resting her hands on your and yohan’s shoulders. “dinner’s ready. shall we eat?” “let’s go, your eomma made sundubu-jjigae and galbijjim.” yohan’s eyes light up and you laugh because you know that those are his favorites.
dinner goes well; you meet yohan’s sisters (of whom yohan has shown you multiple pictures) and they are the sweetest little girls. they take turns asking you different questions, such as where did you go to school and what was it like in your home country. “the food is very delicious, ahjumma.” yohan’s mom gives you a sweet smile before responding, “thank you, I’m glad you liked it.” and then you find yourself helping her with the dishes, and as she dries the clean dishes you set aside, she tells you, “yohan hasn’t been this happy in a long time. sure, he’s a sweet boy and is very patient but I think that ever since you came into his life, he’s glowing.” you flush at her statement and tell her, “that really means a lot, thank you so much. I don’t know what I would’ve done if it weren’t for yohan; he’s been nothing short of an amazing friend and boyfriend to me and I feel like the luckiest person in the world with him by my side.” she grins at your words and wipes down the final dish, before telling you, “you really are a sweetheart, y/n.” she looks over your shoulder to see yohan standing there. “oh? yohan, why don’t you show y/n around the house a little?” then, your hand is intertwined with yohan’s as he begins to walk you down a small hallway. there are pictures all over the walls, from his dad as a taekwondo master, to yohan himself breaking boards. you see one of yohan as a child, smiling in his uniform. your eyes stay on that one as an amused smile forms on your lips. “that’s a cute one.” you point out said picture and yohan’s arms wrap around your face from the back, chin resting on your shoulder to see what you’re pointing at. “that was from my elementary school days, I think I was just laughing at something someone said.” you turn your head and peck his cheek. “still look the same to me, though. an elementary schooler then, an elementary schooler now.” suddenly, yohan’s arms around your waist loosen and he begins to tickle you. you let out a small shriek before doubling over in laughter. the hallway is now full of your and yohan’s laughs and as you two pause to catch your breaths, yohan turns you around to face him. “hey, I think i’m in love with you.” with bashful eyes, you wrapped your arms around him, burying your face in his neck. “I love you too.” yohan heard this and the tips of his ears turned red. and with that, he reciprocated the hug just as tight, glad that the perfect evening ended on a perfect note.

synopsis: you’re an ordinary girl, with an ordinary life. but what happens when you catch the gang that is famous for keeping their deeds under the table, in action?

it’s weird, but something gravitated you towards the x1 necklace. you couldn’t explain what it was. maybe in the situation, you were in, you know, being kidnapped and all, that was the only thing you could think of. but it was only after your impulsive decision made you pick it up, that you looked up to the necks of the men that stood there. all but one adorned the same necklace that was in your grasp, and when you met the eyes of the owner, your heart dropped. piercing you with his gaze was yohan. “it’s mine,” he said, “follow me.” and before the others could disperse, yohan began to move away from the hall. his hands were shoved in his pockets and he started to briskly walk down a narrow hallway. you hurriedly followed, but you made sure you were two steps behind him. anything could happen, and frankly, you didn’t want to push any buttons. “my role in the group is the harvester.” you raised an eyebrow, “what does that mean?” yohan continued onward, till he reached a door. he opened it and walked in, leaving it wide open for you to follow. upon entering the room, your breath was caught in your throat.
the room is strangely warm and humid, but you understand why once yohan turns the light on. across the perimeter of the room are multiple long, wooden planters, growing marijuana. you scrunch your nose at the lingering scent of skunk in the room, but that doesn’t seem to faze yohan. “I see,” you tell him, shock holding you in place, while yohan slips the necklace back over his head, and sits on the ledge of a window on the other side of the room. he’s looking back at you, but he’s got a dazed look on his face. when you squint, you can see a red tint in the whites of his eyes, and you put two and two together: he’s stoned. “I grow the weed this gang sells, and I control who the weed goes to, and whatever. I also smoke the weed, but you already knew that right?” you gulped, suddenly hyper-aware of the situation. “I-I’ve never met a stoner before.” yohan stands to pull a lighter out of his back pocket, before reaching over on a nearby table to grab a joint. he places it between his teeth and lights the open end, till you see small fumes escaping his nostrils.
he’s approaching you, now, and you subconsciously move back once for every step he takes towards you until you feel the wall behind you. he’s close enough to where you can clearly see the red rim of his eyelids, and the dilation of his pupils. “stoner? I prefer the word... cannabis enthusiast. or I guess, that’s two words. anyhow, you chose to work with me.” he takes another hit on the joint, and offers it to you. you decline, putting your hand up and scrunching your nose in distaste. he shrugs before blowing the smoke out, white fumes moving at their own leisure. “your job is to help me harvest. it’s as simple as that. I deal with other substances besides weed, so I'll take care of that once you get the hang of harvesting these.” you comb a hand through your hair and nod. you chose this fate, and now you must deal with it. “I’ll teach you everything, don’t worry about it. for now, just relax. I’m high as shit right now so I can’t teach you properly. let’s start tomorrow.” he stuck the joint back in the mouth and patted your shoulder, only to walk out of the room. you stood, a shiver made its way down your spine despite the air in the room being thick from the humidity. you clenched your fists and muttered curses, heading out of the room.
