Andrew was lounging on the couch, observing Neil's every move. "Eight times."

"What?" Neil called back, completely unaware of Andrew's eyes on him.

"You've yawned eight times in the last ten minutes."

"I'm fine Drew."

"Sure you are.'' Andrew scoffed, shifting a bit. ''Come here.''

Neil hesitated for a moment, realizing what Andrew had in mind. "Are you sure?"

"Don't make me repeat myself."

"But we have practice soon." Neil's voice didn't sound quite convincing, as he was already walking towards Andrew.

"Fuck practice.'' Andrew sighed, extending his arm and waiting.

Neil took his hand, allowing Andrew to pull him close, until he was practically on top of him.

They did this sometimes, Andrew would hold him or play with his hair to help him relax. They didn't talk about it but they both knew how much it helped Neil.

''Yes or no?'' It was barely a whisper, but of course Andrew heard. ''Yes.''

Neil closed the last bit of distance between them. The kiss was slow and lazy. Neil pulled away slightly to glance at Andrew and then placed one last kiss on his neck, burying his face there. He closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

katelyn mackenzie has a big pittie mix who is really sweet and he loves aaron immediately but aaron is like.... mkay. for a while because he just comes off a lil aggressive and high energy and then once aaron is at their apartment alone and he's having a hard time calming down after a rough day and he just comes to lay his head in aarons lap and katelyn comes home to them both asleep on the couch

I'm obsessed with Raven Neil but I've been thinking about Trojan Neil and the idea cracks me up

Imagine Nathaniel was supposed to join the Ravens but someone in the Moriyama camp decides that unlike Jean whose criminal family is not as notorious and pretty low level, Nathaniel's dad and mom are getting a little too much attention from the FBI and BIA and to be honest part of Nathan's function is to take most of the heat off the Moriyamas anyway. Bringing Nathaniel to the Nest would bring the authorities attention on them and they don't want that.

But they still wanna make a buck off this kids future. So they train him up a bit and send him off to the Trojans aka the second best exy team in the league. Nathaniel will debut with them and go pro from there and 80% of his salary will go to the Moriyamas. Also they don't have all of their eggs in one nest so to speak (pun intended). Seems like a solid plan.

But the thing is Nathaniel is still Nathaniel so they need to make sure he has the right attitude for the infamous sunshine court. He is trained to smile sweetly and behave. Which he technically does but...well he's still Nathaniel.

Imagine his Butchers smile as he tells his opponent in a pleasant voice that is still so so unsettling to everyone who hears it: "Have a winning day!"

I need a fic where this happens. I need a hilarious fic where Neil is even more criminally unhinged but has a veneer of sunshiney bonhommie that makes it even scarier.

Neil could really have been a very suave criminal mastermind if he'd chosen to be. I'm rereading the kings men and the whole thing is basically just Neil gently manipulating people to do what he wants them to, and figuring out how to put anyone who won't come around to his way of thinking (Aaron) under pressure so that they just do what he wants. He wouldn't need to be as violent as his father, the guy just knows how to read people and figure out what they want, and what they can't afford to lose. He'd have them eating out of his hand if he wanted to do anything more than play stickball have boyfriend.
