NGL, I don't handle the heat very well. Give me frosty air, bitter wind, snowflakes like torn tissues...gray skies pressing down on the bare branches. I revel in outdoor fun in the cold and throwing on a sweater or hoodie indoors to relax afterwards.

That being said, the neighborhood is planning a street fondue party because at 100 plus degrees, the chocolate will be perfect for dipping the strawberries and the toasted hot dog buns left over from Independence Day. See you at seven, bring beer. Or wine. Or gin and tonic water. Or something to make us forget we have no end in sight to the hot hot weather.

Love this video. The little dance towards the end seems like such a part of the joyful personality that has been a hard won battle with anxiety and by then being in the public eye for just a little less than a decade. (I think this event was around 2014). Dress is amazing, hair is radiant, everything about the video says, "hey, here is a moment to remember, make the most of it."
