Just one question: have you grasped how this is working? Like it’s obviously like a chain where the last char gets a new fusion. I thought it was very clearly telegraphed; but I see so many people guessing chars who already appeared that I am not sure anymore.

Do you understand that Damien, Oz or Vicky WON’T be in a fusion anymore, right?

SPINOFFS!

So for @btflglitch‘s April Monster Prom spinoff challenge, my good bitch @inky-banana and I teamed up for our newest monstrosity yet. Monster Prom: Mission to Mars!

Our pitch is: Spooky High School is going on a School Trip! To Mars. You read that right. Don’t ask, but there are rumours that threats of extortion, public defamation, and/or arson were involved (try guessing who made them). Luckily enough, Vera’s newest business venture is a… questionable resort on the Red Planet. How fortunate!

Although the mechanics of the game are pretty much the same, the big difference is that there’s no romance. Just goofing off, deep in-game lore, and crime. So much crime.

Our locations are:  Rocket Ship, Greenhouse, Observatory, Gift Shop, Outside, and Karaoke Bar (Because why the hell wouldn’t there be one)

Our 2 stages are The Bubble (The dome where oxygen is pumped) and The Mess Hall.

The scene above is a fun memory of the day they decided to test who can and can’t breathe without helmets. (Scott was the only one dumb enough to try, and Polly was too buzzed to remember that she doesn’t need one)

We’re both super proud of what we came up with!

Here’s my take on the Oz and Amira fusion.  Amira is the dominant personality in this piece, while Oz shadows, but I like to think that Oz is watching from the eyebrows and can control a set of double-jointed arms.

A lot is going on in this piece, but I feel like it is the  “a-lot-is-going-on-and-my-eyeballs-are-cool-with-it.” I was playing on the idea of turning Oz’s little guys into fire orbs, which was my main motivation to finish this piece. People should know about the floating fire orbs.

I also did these dancing sketches of Oz and Amira as a doodle to get into the mindset of the fusion but thought it would be cool for it to be the “dancing flames” underfoot.  Again, a lot is going on in this.
