The first few buttons of his white shirt were undone, revealing a pale chest and thin lines of scars; the sleeves rolled up to his elbows to reveal strong forearms, one marred by a smudge of black ink. Or in which Draco is overcome by grief, and Harry is there to keep him afloat.

Thoughts: This fic was a stunning portrayal of Draco’s journey through grief and Harry’s supporting him along the way. Their relationship was symbiotic in so many ways, and each one was a new moment that took my breath away. There were fascinating tidbits about pureblood traditions and gorgeous descriptions of magic throughout the entire story. I admit that I’m also a sucker for Draco playing an instrument and wand maker Harry, so those details didn’t hurt either. The real strength of this fic lies in the power of the emotions it conveys, both in the characters and the reader. I cried three times reading this fic, and it’s not even that I was sad, so much as just moved by feeling like I was living in the moment with the person in the scene. I can’t recommend this enough, honestly. If you give it a shot, I can’t imagine regretting it. I sure didn’t.

I think my brain short-circuited for a few minutes when I first saw this. It’s so perfect. They’re amazing and hot and Draco in heels and a corset is just everything! Voldemort succeeded in defeating Harry during book 7. The Dark Lord took over the entire wizarding world and Harry disappears, vanishes, everyone thinks he is dead. Hidden away, Harry trains and studies to be better, stronger, smarter, darker (fighting fire against fire) and returns to the wizarding world five years later, ready and set on defeating Voldemort for the final time. Along the way, he finds that Draco had been forced into prostitution, the once prideful Malfoy from his school days replaced with this almost unrecognizable sensual courtesan, forced to spread his legs for anyone who offered enough galleons, as punishment for the Malfoy’s incompetences and Draco’s reluctance to be Voldemort’s little bitch (or something like that)

Insert lots of angst, pining, Draco having to sleep with multiple men while Harry tries not to go on a murder rampage, identity porn because our boy Harry doesn’t actually know how to woo anyone and doesn’t trust Draco in the beginning so disguise!, also because it is a suuuuper dangerous mission, regular porn, Draco in lots and lots of beauuuuutiful courtesan clothes because he still gets spoiled as a whore, but also finally in the end, Harry defeats Voldemort once and for all, rescues Draco and they live until they die in the country side.
