YESYESYES GRRREE!!! Also an afab emcee who’s costumes vary between like full suit and tails (but no shirt, so just the trousers jacket waistcoat and bowtie) and like full on marlena deitrich esque showgirl costumes (sparkly jacket, waistcoat, bowtie but like hot pants and fishnets) and like everywhere in between. But their makeup/hair contrasts how masculine their presentation is - at their most masculine outfit wise they have like a full finger waves set and like the most feminine style of makeup possible while still like staying cohesive with the whole vibe and while at their most overtly feminine they’re like…the closest they can get to visibly masculine.
Emcees that do gender!!!! Weirdly!!!!! Weird gender!!!!
desperately need to play the emcee but an emcee where its ambiguous if they’re a man or a woman because even though their body their face and their voice are a woman’s they act and dress like a man and when the show begins they’re barely wearing anything (but in a masculine way with full on body hair mens clothing tits out and all) but throughout the show they start dressing more modestly and feminine and covering up more and more and at around I Don’t Care Much they’re wearing a dress and looking like a woman and the question ends up being is this character a man being played by an actress who’s a woman? is this character a woman crossdressing as a man? is this character’s gender something else and they’re hiding it because of what’s happening around them? who knows their fate is sealed either way

GRAAAAAAA I WANNA DO WBERYTHING
and he tells the studio it’s you or him and they say it’s you
Imagine, you're an actor who was hired to play a role in a movie, but the director obviously hates you and wants your role for himself. He is constantly cold toward you and tries to one-up you in everything. One day, he comes up to you, asks "Have you ever done a backflip?" You haven't. "It's easy," he says. He leaps into the air, does a backflip, and lands square on his face.
This was the actual experience of Joel Grey in Cabaret (1972).
In the spirit of my previous post dysgraphic davey! Davey who is incredibly book smart but gets in trouble at school because he can’t handwrite! Davey who cries daily because he just CANT get what’s in his head on paper! Davey who’s so exhausted from writing all the time that he’s prone to breaking down! Davey who wants to SCREAM because nobody will believe him that he *knows* this stuff, he’s capable he’s smart, he has so much he wants to share but nobody believes him. Also Davey who tries a typewriter for the first time and breaks down because he can finally express himself, who finally has proof that he’s not dumb or wrong or broken and that he can share what he’s thinking
All I want, all I ask, is for dysgraphia to be as commonly represented as dyslexia is 💔💔
