Really Loose New Concept Literally Just Thought Up On A Walk, A Science Fantasy Game Where You Play A
really loose new concept literally just thought up on a walk, a science fantasy game where you play a human who has been selected to possibly ascend to god hood(here meaning both being magically and scientifically enhanced) and instead of a normal character creation stat allotment, you adjust your stats by picking which gods over seeing it are and are not in favor of your apotheosis, I.E. You lose points in the tank/weapons stat if Thor doesn't like you, but gain bonuses to the Stealth/Social/gadget because Loki likes you, basically it's saying Thor doesn't like you because your not quite as much of a stand up badass as he would like but Loki sees how crafty you can be,

Can I talk about Ilia’s lightning lash for a sec?

Because really- it’s such a revealing choice of weapon. It’s basically the RWBY equivalent of a taser. I mean not only does it not have a gun or any sort of projectile (something we only see in a few RWBYverse weapons), but it’s the only weapon we’ve seen specifically designed with a reliable, non-lethal (and non-maiming...) way to disarm or disable an opponent.

Sure it’s still capable of dealing a lot of damage. It’s extremely effective against mechs and Atlas tech. But go up against anything with a little more durability, particularly someone with aura, and it has a pretty hard time. It’s just not a weapon designed for cutting through aura, and honestly I think that’s intentional.

See, it would have been easy enough for her to go for a bladed weapon (like virtually every other member of the White Fang). But Ilia didn’t choose a sword, or a dagger, or even throwing knives on a chain. She picked a whip infused with lightning dust. Something capable of deflecting and blocking, something still able to slice and dice it’s way through Atlas mechs, but ultimately? Something designed to be able to do this:

Ilia’s weapon is utterly unique in that it gives her the option to win while inflicting as little damage as possible. She can completely stop a threat without maiming or killing them. No serious injury required, and no chance of them continuing to fight. It gives her a choice- something beyond ‘take a life or abandon your goals’. A choice that isn’t ‘run’ or ‘kill’.

It’s not a weapon made to bring vengeance and death. Its the weapon of someone tired of being forced into horrible choices. Someone determined to find another way to keep fighting for what’s right, no matter how hard it gets.

Wolf, what’s your deal?
I’m getting the feeling this is way more than just surviving at this point. Your not only have a prejudice against mutes, but you seems to really dislike the fact that Kipo can find peaceful solutions to her problems. You find every excuse to crack down and take control of the group, which usually ends with you getting into combat while Kipo stays out of the way.
If it was just survival, you wouldn’t give a shit how you get out of danger. I think Kipo is shattering some world views of yours and you’re feeling a bit defensive.
It's solo fucking swell having the thought I can loose my account hanging over my head because of dumdass crap. Like a dead email address that wouldn't even be a fucking issue if Tumblr didn't have a idiotic rule against multiple account a sharing am email
