I haven't seen this circulating here on Tumblr, so I decided to make my own post.

last saturday, in Porto, there was a pride parade going down the street and this old man was standing there, by his front door, waving the portuguese flag. most people on the parade probably thought the same: old person waving the national flag? he's probably protesting against the parade, he's a nationalist of some sort.

then the old man called for that person to come near him. the whole parade stopped. everyone just.. stopped moving. they didn't know what to expect, and most expected the worst. and that person decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and approached the old man. and then... they traded flags, he hugged the person and then he waved the pride flag happily. everyone cheered him.

such a wholesome moment. 🥹❤️🌈

going off Florida's comment in this video of Spanish being his first language that would imply most of the states don't speak English as they first language and the idea that Gov just forgets this has me rolling.

Like by the logic in that video most of the states speak French as their first language (24 I think, if my memory is right) I think Illinois and Arkansas would be the funniest for him to forget because they can both "where do you think the S went??"

I think remembering Utah's first language is Spanish would be the most shocking one for Gov, bc no offense to Utah but he acts like he says the L's in tortilla. Also I think the idea of Gov going to check on the region meetings, walks into the west and half of them are arguing in Spanish and he just back it up, doesn't have Florida with him, so not today.

during one of the cyberattack videos a "if only we had someone who speaks Russian!" and it pans to Alaska (or MAYBE even Washington or Oregon) and he's looking in the camera like he's on the office.

and then like not even the 13 all speak English as their first language. New York, Jersey and Connecticut's first language is Dutch, Delaware and Pennsylvania's is Swedish. Gov gets roasted bc the states had a dumb joke about taking Delaware with to IKEA whenever they go and what did he think the origin of that was? Delaware really liking ikea and the other states being considerate for once?

dude finally realizes only eight states have English as their first language and is like "why did no one tell me this?" and the full answer is "you never asked?"

It's July 4 so happy America day. Can't believe they made a whole country out of Welcome to The Table
