One time when i was about 13 me and my mentally abusive father got into a big fight in the car at a gas station. We were near my mom's place and i couldnt stand being there anymore, so i tried to get out of the car and leave. My dad tried to physically force me back in, grabbing me and yelling in my face. There was a girl who looked maybe 18-19 years old near us with her friends. She spoke up and told him not to fucking touch me, and that she would call the police. He let me go.

To that lady: Thank you SO much. You have no idea how much that meant to me. How good it felt to know that somebody cared. Thank you.
