I’m gonna keep this vague on purpose because what has happened is very triggering, but to clarify, this is about a certain cosplayer on tiktok.

What happened was so… extremely fucked up in so many ways and it’s making me feel physically sick.

I’m only passively in the fandom on tiktok; I make a comment on someone’s post here and there and my friends and I spam each other with COD vids, but I don’t make my own content. I joined the fandom I think in May or early June this year.

I don’t think I ever followed or even interacted with this person, but I did see his videos on my feed and I loved his content.

Even though I never interacted with him or his community, hearing about what has happened in the last 24 hours has hit me so hard. That’s all I’ll say at this point because I feel like it’s not my place to say much else further.

Just, please check on people in the fandom today. Cosplayers, fanfic writers, fan artists, other creators; mutuals or not, check on them. I hope Inquisitor rests in peace and that Justice is served to those responsible.

All this discourse over Stan's possible middle name, and I have a suggestion.

What if it was Jacob?

WHAT 👏 IF 👏 IT 👏 WAS 👏 JACOB

It ties in so perfectly, because after all Jacob is a Hebrew name and the Pines family is Jewish, so it's plausibe, and the symbolism would be *chef's kiss*.

For those who don't know the Biblical (and Torah) story of Jacob, the symbolism is perfect. Basically, Jacob was a twin--specifically the youngest twin, and the least favourite of his father. He's also particularly known for being deceptive, at one point essentially scamming his brother out of his birthright with soup. This all culminates with Jacob literally pretending to be his brother. This then forces Jacob to go on the run where he spends a good amount of his life. Finally (after a very exciting and weird interlude), he's forced to reunite with his brother, who ends up forgiving him.

If Stan's middle name was Jacob, the symbolism would be immaculate.
