Ok so I had got to talking with redpala-Keith on what ifs and one of the things we talked about was, what if we suddenly woke up as our online rp avatars.

Now he’s a guy turning into a guy character. -Keith

But me, I’m a girl, who’d be turning into a guy character. -Lance

And a question popped into my head.

I’m a girl

Who turns into a guy.

I’m still a girl mentally.

And I’m still attracted to guys.

But I’m in a guy body.

does that make me gay???

Redpala-Keith and I couldn’t come up with an answer to this.

So what do you all think? In a situation like this (which is exactly like what happened in the jumanji movie with Jack black. The girl character turned into a guy in that movie.) would I automatically be gay?

And if it were in the reverse, a guy turning into a girl. Does that make them a lesbian?

Lance got tugged along. He tried to run but he could already feel the pull of the blood moon.

He struggled to answer Keith. “I-I go feral! If I’m not restrained, I’ll attack everyone around me! Keith we’re not goi-“ Lance couldn’t finish speaking. Only stuttering guttural sounds came out of him. The blood in his veins were surging with powerful energy. His eye narrowed into slits as he glanced up at the moon.

A moon that was turning blood red.

His fangs lengthened and ached with the need to sink into flesh. His mind clouding with the desire to hunt… to feed. Friend, foe or neutral, none of it registered anymore. All that mattered was there was food around him and he needed to feed.

He looked back at Keith blindly and unseeing. There was no recognition in his eyes. All he saw was food in front of him.

His mouth hung open and he hissed in hungry anticipation. He wanted to tear into Keith’s neck and drain every drop of blood he had.

His grip tightened on Keith and he leaned close to him, primal hunger driving his actions.

Lance melted into the hug and wrapped his arms around Keith. The hug helped ground him. Keep him from going back to that concentration camp where he was forced to see people suffer. Forced to watch people die… forced to let them die.

He knew his fair share of healing magic, he could heal people with really bad injuries. But you can’t heal starvation. You also can’t heal people who are too far gone health wise.

He shuddered at the memory and buried his face into Keith’s shoulder. He wondered if Keith had ever been in any of the kinds of situations he was in.

The moment was cut short though when coran’s voice shouted over the com links.

“PALADINS! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!”

“What? What’s wrong coran?” Shiro inquired.

“I made a slight miscalculation. The blood and full moon are not due tomorrow, they are due today! In fact, they are do any minute now!”

Lance froze.

No… nonononono! This can’t be happening! Not now!

Lance was panicking in Keith’s arms. What were they going to do? There was no time to run and get off the planet. There wasn’t even any time to get to the lions.

They were screwed.

It started out as a simple infiltration mission on board a galra science station. They get in, get the intel and get out. Easy peesy right?

They didn’t expect one of the lab experiments to stow away on the black lion…

Keith isn’t baring his fangs. That’s good.

Shiro slowly approaches, holding his hands out to show he’s not a threat.

“It’s ok… everything is going to be ok…. I’m just here to help you… you’re calling for your pack right?… well I’m here… the others are waiting for you back at the castle… is it alright if I touch you?”

When he’s only a foot away, he holds his hand out. A request to pet.

Now it was Keith’s move. He could only hope that Keith would see him as a friend.

Everyone heads to their lions and flies down to the planet. They reach the area where the rebel’s distress signal came from and touchdown a good distance away. They get out and start walking towards the trapped rebels.

“So how are we going to get these rebels out of that fallen debris? Keith and I are strong, vampires and werewolf strength and all. Shiro’s got some muscle on him, especially with that robot arm. Allura is like some crazy altean Amazon…. You know what, never mind, forget I asked, dumb question. What I should really be asking is do we have enough medical experience and equipment to help these guys if they are hurt? and they most likely are.”

Shiro hide a smirk at Lance’s first question and observation. Typical silly Lance. Always stating the obvious.

Then he glanced at Lance on the second question while still smiling.

“That’s why hunk and pidge grabbed the medical gear we store in all our lions for emergencies.”

Lance blinked dumbly.

“Oh…ok good to know we’re prepared then.” He’s gonna shut up now.
