i was going to write like this long thing about how much variation of textures and shapes and colors is out there in nature to feast your brain on and how good it must be for the human mind, but I'm sleepy.
look. you can go outside in the woods and take a picture of a random log or rock and you will have something you could get a print of and hang on the wall for home decor because nature invented beauty

Meet the Jellyfish Galaxy. It’s one of a number of known “jellyfish” galaxies, which are characterized by streamers of gas and stars resembling jellyfish tentacles, which appear in blue in this Hubble Space Telescope image.
The spiral galaxy ESO 137-001 is zooming toward the upper right of this image, and plowing through intergalactic gas in the process. The resulting drag strips gas from the galaxy, and that gas is now forming stars. Those stars will be spread across space like dandelion seeds in the wind.

ALT TEXT: Hundreds of stars of varying brightness and colors appear on a black background. At upper right, a spiral galaxy is mostly edge-on and oriented almost vertically, spanning about half the image’s height. From the galaxy, mottled streamers of blue extend toward its lower left. The longest are almost as long as the spiral galaxy is wide. A dark patch of dust partially obscures the galaxy’s center.

a lovely user afeinstein20 made this cross-stitch pattern of my old mushroom night light piece, and they kindly allowed me to share it for free on my ko-fi !
if anyone else would like to have a go cross stitching it i would love to see it.
