From The Research Ive Done, People With OCD Often Cycle Through The Different Types Of OCD. And If The
From the research I’ve done, people with OCD often cycle through the different types of OCD. And if the OCD goes untreated they can eventually go through phases of all of the different types.
For me my OCD started very religious but eventually it became about not throwing things away and I became a hoarder now it’s very much about health and being ‘’normal’’
I was just reading up on all the themes of OCD, because I was plagued with self-doubt about me actually having it (despite being diagnosed)… and I came across meta-OCD. which, kind of ironically, is obsessing over having OCD. and can include doubt about the presence of OCD, often leading to spending way too long trying to research the disorder.
anyway.
this is kind of a recent addition to my little pile of worries. even when I was self diagnosed, I didn’t stress this much about faking.
so now I’m wondering… is it a normal thing to have more than one theme? when I got diagnosed, it was just “just right” OCD, but I think I might also have magical thinking, amongst other things. the more I read about themes, the more confused I get honestly.

the background color is #FFF9F6 in case anyone wanted to change their blog theme to match. i also should be able to change the color should anyone desire something less monochrome, but this will have to be specifically requested (either in color/shade or hex code, the latter is preferred, and it shouldn't interfere with the contrast of the letters).
please rb if using or saving!
requests are open in the comments but may take longer due to technical issues.
Laval in The Legends of the Chima Chatlog be like:

i don't go here (here being marvel) but i will say this, as a more general statement:
the problem with alloros shipping aro characters is not that there are no romance-favorable aros or arospec people in relationships. the problem is that the vast majority of alloro people use this as an excuse to overlook the aro identity.
an aromantic being in a ronantic relationship does not suddenly stop being aromantic; it doesn't suddenly stop having any effect on their life. in fact, most aro people in relationships or who have been in relationships that i've spoken to would tell you that their aro identity directly informs the way their romantic relationships work.
it's the same as when people used the "well it's a SPECTRUM, maybe he's demiromantic" excuse with jughead. like, no, actually, you don't get to use arospec identities as a free pass if you're not going to actually treat the people who claim those identities with respect. it'd be like if someone came onto me, a non-partnering aro, and was like "aromanticism is a spectrum, why don't you just try it?" like, yeah it's a spectrum, that doesn't mean i occupy all points along that spectrum at the same time.
aro people's identities are not your playthings, and you don't get to co-opt partnering and romance favorable aros' experiences for the sake of your own convenience if you're not actually going to treat the portrayal of those experiences with respect and dignity. you don't get to pick and choose which aro experiences are most palatable to you based on, like, what the hot new ship of the week is.
