Quick tips for writers who are still in the educational system: turn class material into small stories in order to understand it in a way that utilises your strengths. Struggling with putting history into context? Re-tell the story of historical figures in a modern setting. Struggling with understanding how different math equations work? Make characters based on the numbers and symbols write a story that showcases how they interact in a math problem. Not only will this increase your understanding, but it will provide the excuse and opportunity to practice writing and expand your creative mind as well, making it easier for you to think outside the box and take inspiration from what’s around you. There are so many ways in which creative writing can blend with education and course material and there are so many ways you can increase your comprehension of the content by using the possibilities to your advantage. Get creative with your education, people. You have it in you.

Graduation and Graduate School Update

Hello again friends! I am not the best at posting original content regularly, but I am extremely excited to tell you about my recent graduation and upcoming plans for graduate school!

Graduation: I graduated with my Bachelor of the Arts last month from Georgian Court University. The last two months have been a whirlwind of events ceremonies, and I feel like I’ve made my mark on the University in these past two years. I was blessed to receive the Peer Mentor Award of Excellence, an academic honorable mention for Psychology, and one of ten nominations among the Senior Class for Kappa Gamma Pi. I ended up graduating Summa Cum Laude and I am ready to move on to Grad School.

Grad School: I will officially be attending Montclair State University in the Fall! I am going for my M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a culminating thesis. On top of this, I also will be starting a Graduate Assistantship at the Center for Writing Excellence. I absolutely love academic, creative, and professional writing; the fact that I got this assistantship is an absolute dream come true. 

I plan on posting and giving study tips as I utilize them in the future, and I hope to be more active on this studyblr soon!
