[4.7.2018] A national holiday isn't going to keep me from studying :) I really REALLY need to work on my handwriting this Summer. It's bordering illegible.

When you start a new goal/activity/program, make a list of reasons why you’re doing it. Make sure it is filled with:

-Reasons why you chose to start this path of action.

-Positive thoughts.

-Personal goals.

-How it can benefit you.

-Where you hope the activity will lead you in life.

-Happy memories surrounding the activity/program.

Open the list and read through it whenever you feel like giving up. It works.

I used this when I marched drum corps because the demanding schedule was exhausting both physically and mentally. When I wanted to quit I opened to the page and reminded myself why I was there, and it always helped me feel better.
