I think she and Jeanne-Marie Beaubier (Aurora from Alpha Flight) would make an interesting and funny couple!

From X-Men: The Magneto War (1999) #1

In this issue, the dreams that some of the members of the X-Men are having while sleeping are shown.

Rogue dreams of the return of Magneto (since at that time Joseph, the younger and amnesic clone of Magneto, was around) and of him asking for her hand in marriage.

But then, in the dream, Gambit interrupts the romantic moment and the two men start fighting for her.

My headcanon (maybe it's indeed canon, but I can't recall having read it) is that Magneto has long hair in Age Of Apocalypse as a symbol of his grief for the death of the Scarlet Witch.

She was killed by Holocaust before the main story of Age Of Apocalypse began (X-Men Chronicles (1995). In that issue, Magneto still had short hair.

This interaction always cracks me up.

Rogue: 'Ah would have said 14th century.'

Magneto (history nerd mode activated): 'Oh? Why would you-?'

Nobody wants to invite Doctor Doom for dinner

I found it hysterical that when Doctor Doom was invited by Storm to dine on Mars, he was served a simple plate of Bouillabaisse, a fish soup, and a dessert. However, in the famous comic written by Chris Claremont featuring the X-Men's battle with Doctor Doom, or the entire X-Men group during the Fantastic Four vs. X-Men saga, he served an extravagant feast that included caviar, roasted chicken, and more. It's as if Storm was saying, 'You can eat, but don't get too comfortable.'

Poor Doctor Doom, he spends a lot of cash when hosting dinners for others, but when it's his turn to be served, people get cheap with him.
