Back when Stick Figures on Crack was popular on YouTube, I was a big fan of it, and was so inspired by it that I decided to make my own lesser quality version of it, titled Completely Normal. Hey, you know what they say about imitation being the most sincere form of flattery!

I’m Myself

So this was pretty cool.

In Summer 2012, the people at Light House Studio in Charlottesville offered to make a documentary about me preparing for the (then) biggest show in my life, and I participated. It was finally released in September as I’m Myself. I also wound up using some of their footage in my own music video for the song of the same name. This was a fun ordeal and I’m glad to have participated in it!

Dark Matter - Procrastinator’s Blues

The only thing I wish about this song is that it were more bluesy. For a song called “Procrastinator’s Blues,” there’s a lot of procrastinating in it, but not much blues.

TheHappySpaceman Reviews - Daft Punk’s Interstella 5555

Remember how I said that my look back at the Top 10 Surprising One-Hit Wonders was my second review to be taken down from YouTube? This video was my first one to be removed. It was weird, this video where I shower Interstella 5555 with praised was removed, but QualityControlYT’s “review” where he bashed this movie and insulted its fans was allowed to stay up. I blame YouTube’s faulty copyright system, where literally anybody can file a report and they will take it down without question. This has happened to some of my own music videos, too, where YouTube will de-monetize them because they have no proof that I wrote my original songs.

But anyway, this video was the reason I got a Vimeo account. Oddly enough, after I had already begun uploading my backlog to Vimeo, this video was reposted on YouTube. Don’t ask me, I still don’t get it.

And yes, for those wondering, I am aware of Daft Punk’s second movie Electroma and will get to that soon.

TheHappySpaceman Reviews - My Little Pony: Equestria Girls

Ah yes, the review Hasbro didn’t want you to see. I legitimately suspect that someone at Hasbro saw this, and was like, “Oh no, this guy hates our movie? We’ll shut him up good!” Honestly, I’m kind of glad they removed it, because that is what influenced me to upgrade my Vimeo account and post my videos there.

Anyway, yeah, this movie. I think it’s kind of cliched to hate on the Equestria Girls movies now, because they have so many obvious flaws and it’s so easy to make fun of them. After I posted this review, I got tons of requests to review its sequel, Rainbow Rocks, which I still haven’t done yet. Hell, I even got requests to review the third Equestria Girls movie, Friendship Games, before it had even come out! Calm down, people! I can only do so much at once!
