Looking for opinions on a file I had shelved

Hey! I've got a normal release coming in a few days but wanted to post and ask opinions on this (unreleased) commission I did a while back... I didn't put it out to the public because it seems pretty niche, and I don't know if it would have mass appeal. But I'd be willing to rethink that if people like the idea of it.

in essence, the file is sort of a "corporate bro" brainwashing which blurs some lines between like, drone programming (via this desire to serve "the Team" at your workplace) and then general masculinization via falling in line with that work-hard-play-hard stereotype of a guy, like a toned-down Wolf of Wall Street deal. It's called "Team Player" and uses that expression ("you wanna be a Team Player, don't you?") as a trigger phrase throughout.

It links ideas like businesswear, corporate success, etc. to sexual pleasure in a way that does also imply a level of submission/docileness, very "joining the hivemind" energy. The effect of this would basically be that just clocking in for your workday + its contents would become kinda hot to you, twisting some aspect of your arousal towards itself... and probably making you both happier/more productive, with the cost of work now being a kink you have. Then there's a peer-pressure brainwashing element where these (presumably bro-y) colleagues would influence you to be more like them, and you'd be biased towards wanting to fit in, etc etc.

The reason I was hesitant to release it is that despite being happy to provide this to the commissioner, I feel like it's maaaaybe a little twisted to be linking people's arousal to getting their work done and being a good employee? But I'm not the kink gatekeeper, and I also acknowledge that the assimilation and groupthink vibes of that could be hot to some. Someone commissioned it, after all! I doubt he's the only one who'd enjoy it.😆

Basically; I've made it, it exists, I just don't know if people would like it enough that I should release it or not. Interested to know your thoughts: would you listen to a file like this?

This file is a follow-up of sorts to my "P.S: Dumb Definition" release. That file helps you to define exactly what "dumb" means for you and what you want it to feel like... and then this one helps you to experience it.

Dumbing Dial is a temporary dumbing-down/IQ play file that will trigger "dumbness" in you lasting at most 30 minutes after the file's end. It doesn't suggest permanence, it doesn't modify personality, it solely enables you to experience what it's like for you to be a good little dumbass for me... for a while. And if you discover it's something you really like... well, you can always listen again, or try some of the other kinds of dumbing in my work.

(In future, I will probably release some dedicated "permanent" dumbing files more centered around the deprioritization of intellect and cerebral interests, suitable for himbos and their bedfellows. ATM, my only files which touch on those themes are the Brute series, Himbo Unchained, and The Bigger You Are.)

This file is the start of what may become a recurring series for me, the "Paradigm Shift" set of files.

My intent with this file is to help demystify and destigmatize elements of dumbing down in direct conversation with the subconscious mind of subjects who like the idea of it, but are a little afraid to try it... I've been there with myself, and I remember how frustrating it was to experience CRAVING this kinda dumbness and being unable to let go and sink in trance enough to feel it happen.

My own journey towards embracing this kink in a healthy way was a slow one; in truth, I might still be on it. I'm hoping this file can accelerate your progress on the same journey, by teaching you that it's the listener who can define what dumb means for them in the context of hypnosis. Permanent or temporary, intense or mild... all flavours of dumb are valid, and you should be able to chase the one you want without fearing the others.

Think of this as Dumbing Down 101; the introductory module. It will probably still dumb down some of you fuckers because you're all so soft and squishy and uwu, so it should have a fun little kick. But if you need a slow start/recontextualisation of the kink, this is the place to go. It's almost an accessory to Chill Out, Bro or Subconscious Protector in that way; ideal for a beginner to the dumb jock space.

Content warnings for this file:

Predictably, this file contains discussion of the word dumb and its societal trappings (so, discussion about how it's used to condemn people who aren't academically smart, despite any other sklls they may have) and uses the word dumb a whole fucking lot lol. If that triggers you, hypnotically or otherwise, beware!

There is discussion of such "clichés" of dumbness as bimbos, himbos, etc. during the file. However, it's not suggested that the listener specifically exhibit traits of any of these stereotypes.

I expect the file will elicit a dumbing-down response of varying intensities depending on the listener due to its permissive nature. You may leave the file feeling a little foggy, a little slow-brained... or just chilled out... or maybe entirely normal. It's very subjective and left up to your subconscious mind to decide how much of this you want to experience; but you can expect this to change with time, as your relationship to the idea of dumbing down changes too.

Brief moment of vulnerability...

I'm honestly a little blown away by the fact that over 80 people like my work enough/want to see it enough that they'll pay for it.

When I made the Patreon, I was really expecting it to be a total bust - it's why I'd procrastinated it for so long, even though I alluded to it wayyy back in 2023. I'd spent ages feeling quite bad about my inconsistency in file-making and hypnosis... for the first 2-ish years, my files were often months apart. Despite that, they did perform well, and people enjoyed them! But I felt "clumsy" as a hypnotist and filemaker, so I didn't think they were good enough for to me to get payment for.

Thank you all for showing me that I was mistaken. 💖
