Happy Birthday!

girl you've been running through my mind all day
Well since this quest was very dangerous they likely would have planned to come in slowly, as to not draw attention to themselves. Since by this time they Dwarven race, specifically those of Erebor were mostly living in the wilds and wandering around for any money they could get to send back to family who lived in the Blue Mountains (which im pretty sure is where Thorin settled his surviving people). Like what I think happened Dwalin and Balin. Dwalin is much more wild looking, and heavily armed aswell as more scary looking. While Balin has clothes that aren’t too worn, and could even be relatively new, and he also is physically much older (and is the oldest in the movies) and not as heavily armed as his brother.
Or they could have traveled together (minus Thorin who went North first) but either separated or got lost and only reunited at Bag-end. (Except for Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Ori, Nori, and Dori who could have found each other and went to Bag-end together). But I do adore the idea of them playing the middle earth equivalent of rock paper scissors to figure who should go first, or just straight up fighting it out.
it always confused why everyone would arrive at bilbo’s house separately if they all traveled to the shire together but then i realized. that trick gandalf pulls on beorn. where he has everyone come in slowly instead of all at once. its the same thing hes doing to bilbo.
now the question remains: is this gandalf’s go-to plan when trying to make someone okay with having 13 dwarves in their house, or does he view bilbo and beorn as both uniquely unhinged individuals who need to be handled like a wild animal that could bite at any minute? i need to Know
